I am infavor of ending all representative government & the election process. Turn government into well managed employees subject to immediate replacement or firing at will. At a giant outdoor market held last weekend by the government to address the problems, a street vendor crushed raw sugar cane to sell juice to weary shoppers waiting in line to buy sugar.

"They say there are no shortages, but I'm not finding anything in the stores," grumbled Ana Diaz, a 70-year-old housewife who after eight hours, had managed to fill a bag with chicken, milk, vegetable oil and sugar bought at official prices. "There's a problem somewhere, and it needs to be fixed."

Gonzalo Asuaje, president of the meat processors association Afrigo, said that costs and demand have surged but in four years the government has barely raised the price of beef, which now stands at $1.82 per pound. Simply getting beef to retailers now costs $2.41 per pound without including any markup, he said.

"They want to sell it at the same price the cattle breeder gets for his cow," he said. "It's impossible."

after all, these people in the armed services are laying their lives on the line and if the u.s.a. goes to war with iran, i would stand to become very wealthy. is this blood money? this is a serious question and i would only like serious responses please. can i justify that i just want to invest in oil, and let bush and Ayatollah Ali Khamenei play their game in the process? let the cards fall where they may in other words?

History tells European powers through religion excuses end up colonizing Africa, and the rest of world! in modern day North Americans Powers in the name of terrorism are now governing iraq, and Afghanistan Indirectly.Also forgetting that they themselves terrorizing the innocent Inhabitants of these countries. Iraq under saddam was well off, though saddam was using Iron fist to govern Iraq. Afghan was better though yet poor but as a result the attach on them by North American powers they became poorer! the Truth is North America doesnot have a solid prove of terrorism but rather theories and believes and a minute evidence that doesnot stand firm! From my judgement the North powers is trying to steal the wealth of these vulnarable countries just as the European did in the 19th century leaving them poor and weak!

Why is it that inevitably we elect people that do not represent us in the proper way (voted by a majority) and we allow them to continue to put us in more jeopardy and they keep spending our tax dollars on these ignorant measures of homeland security?
We the People can take care of our own? It is only common sense isn't it? Where does all this fear come from and laziness?

Recently there has been news about states looking to toughen the laws regarding people being put to death. Child rapists, rapists, kidnappers, and accomplices to murder are now looking to be executed as well. I am not looking for answers on whether you feel there should or shouldn't be a death penalty but how do you feel about people being executed who did not actually commit murder? Do you feel execution should only be for people who physically took another life?

This link above lists the total US hurricanes starting in 1881- Present. There is ABSOLUTELY no correlation between this data and global "climate change." Global temperatures are "increasing" and yet the hurricane frequency seems to be random at best.

For instance between 1881- 1890 there were 10 MAJOR (category 3,4,5) hurricanes, while 2001-2004 saw only 3.

So how can hurricanes be increasing due to global warming if neither hurricane frequency nor hurricane power are increasing?

Are the global warming alarmists lying to us?
