I'm not afraid of it because I think it is a massive hoax. All my life I have been told by the powers that be that I am killing the planet. I reject that idea, I am sick of being scared into submission.

The people who believe global warming are Lemmings. Thirty politicians were claiming global cooling 30 years ago and we needed to do something about it, or the world was going to end. Come on people look at the science. This is all political, the chief climateologist (sp) from Oregon is going to be fired because he doesn't line up with the Left agenda of Global warming is caused by man. HE believes like most non-agenda scientists that the slight change in the earth's climate over the past 125 years is a natural change in the earth. This is all about money and getting grant money from the Government to further an agenda. The most obvious eviedence is the Kuoto(sp?) treaty. You can SELL your pollution credits to other nations. This is so laughable I want to Cry at the stupidity of Americans. China burns so much coal without restrictions that it would take 2 billion large SUV's to equal that output. However conviently enough China is exempt of the Kuoto treaty, why? it is all about money and one world government. The corruption on the REP and DEM is overwhelming we need to take back this country that was established for the PEOPLE BY the PEOPLE, not for Earmarks and SPecial interest Groups. Common sense is unfortunately not so common any more. Wake UP AMERICANS

Yes. I'm very afraid of this quickly growing problem in the world. The thing that really frightens me the most, is that nothing is being done about it. The United States won't even recognize the existence of Global Warming, thanks in part to our wonderful president. After all, his policies generally reflect favoritism for the polluters that support his campaigns.
Our world is being destroyed, and there are so many solutions to the pollution that is heating the Earth. The largest polluter in the world (The US) won't invest heavily in environmentally safe programs because of the opposition politicians like Senator Inhofe (R-OK) and George Bush have towards Global Warming. They continue to believe that Global Warming is a hoax, or too expensive to fix. How dare they decide the fate of the young people who will have to live through the full effects of Global Warming. They don't care, because they were paid not to care.
I'm scared because nothing is being done, and with the pollution rates going up rapidly (mainly because of China's industrialization) it looks like things will only get worse from here.

I'm Sooooooooooo Scared!!!!!
LOL!!!
That it will end!!!!
You see if we are not warming, then we are Cooling! Cooling means catastrophe! Famine, Disease, and Death are the norms for "Ice Ages". Last little "Ice Age" nearly wiped us out, and it was not even that bad!
I think we should take full advantage of our current period of advantageous conditions and prepare for the eventual destruction that will ensue after several major Volcanic events send us plummeting into another period of adverse Cold!
We should begin Cloning little Big Gay Al Gores and freeze them for the coming disaster! When the Temps fall and the Ice Shelves encroach, we can then revive hundreds of BGAG's to go out and "Campaign" all over!
The resulting overload of Hot Air will counter-act the effects of the decreased sunlight and save us!
Please feel free to discard the original after extracting the needed cells for the clones-We are after all in a period of warmth and as such really do not need the additional warming at this time!

I am. I also worry about meteorites. Allan's are also a worry. To think that a degree or two in a twenty years will put us all at risk and is worthy of thought. Big business is going to push the envelope right up to the point we could loose everything. I worry we will not figure it out. It is not all that hard to plan ahead. It means retooling the way we do things. If we do it first the world is our oyster.

I'm not scared of global warming, I'm scared of people who think is not happening. I will never see the full effect of it so it doesn't scare me much but that doesn't keep me from doing something about it but the people who don't think is happening obviously are contributing to it with out remorse. That shows who they really are.

Not scared the Co2 levels are already at all time highs. I think its a done deal for the most part its going to get as hot as its going to get. When the sea levels rise you will see people get excited. Then maybe with some of this techology we will start getting the Co2 out of the air.

Scared is the wrong word. It's a very slow process. I'd say I'm concerned about it but not scared.
