Isn't "immature" a word 15 year old girls use when they're insulting junior high school boys? I assume you're not a 15 year old girl.
"Repubs" come in all stripes and hues, as do "Dems." And the sense of humor in each party varies widely throughout the party.
You're wrongly painting the party with broad strokes. It was MY joke, but hey, I STILL think it was funny.
