Who the hell does Bush think he is, and what his and the U.S.'s role in the world are? Are we really above the law because 20 some odd terrorist hijacked 4 planes and smashed up New York, the Pentagon and a cow pasture in rural Pennsylvainia? Can we detain anyone in the world who looks funny to us? Is this a good example of democracy to intice our Arab brethren? We preach freedom and human rights and deliver imprisonment and death. 5 BILLION of your tax dollars a month to finace this insanity.

A six pack of Coca Cola for our troops in Iraq = $3.00 + $42.00 shipping and handling.

I have seen this on some of the building engravings indicating the name of the building. Not all of them are like this but there are several that I have seen that are. I am curious to know what it means or why it is like that.

i know the question looks silly, but i think the world relies on balance so for every bad thing that happens somthing good happens, if you take somthing bad out, chances are it would be replaced by somthing bad so is it worth changing anything

I have no problem with my tax dollars going to support those in need. In fact I think that public assistance is a good thing under certain circumstances. But why should we pay for more of them, would it be some kind of human rights violation to say "before you can have a government check you have to get a Norplant (or something similar) implanted" That way we don't subsidize large welfare families.

I have an idea that would kill the proverbial two birds...
Landfills are bad right?
Prison overcrowding is bad and there doesn't seem to be a good deterent to keep felons out of them right?

So here's the idea: garbage trucks go directly to the prison, dump their load onto conveyor belts and the convicts spend 12 hour shifts sorting garbage into recyclable piles. Unpleasant, necessary work done that would actually enable the prison system to turn a profit and reducingour need on raw materials. Who would like to see this in action.

I knew a scientist 10 years ago who worked for a corporation on the the genetic mapping of a string bean-- this was for them to be altered in some way.
I believe most of our fruit and vegetables today are modified, they don't have to tell us, they just do it.
And I can taste the difference, can't you?

I am afraid that most of terrorist have noting honest to do with their religion as most of American politicians, soldiers and influential people with justice. Terrorists actualy wish to revenge for American crimes and are jealous of American live status. They cover their actions by task given from God to fight with evil. And what they did? They become like their true enemies – murderers. American people leading war with terrorism actually fight more for anything else than justice using whole U.S. community to support endless profitable war. They cover and don’t want to take care even of simple crimes commited by them and their own citizens exposing Muslim crimes as only one reason why this war started and cant end. I mean crimes like bombing citizens, weaponary selling in black market and as an tactical manoeuvre, rapes and murders, leading war much more for oil than for justice. They are also greedy for their technology power (medical, industrial, economic, military defense…).

why are so many people asking questions such as why are muslims this, why are they that?
seriously please stop generalising. not all muslims are like that. jut because you have seen some islamic terrorist organisations and some extremem muslims on television does not mean, we are all like that.
and there is always a reason for why they act like this...you should really know the facts behind terrorist organisations like hezbollah. then maybe you would know why he is good for lebenan.
do you realise how much all of you insult our religion? maybe thats why we have to try so hard to defend it?

This is something I have never understood, except to believe it is because most Muslims are too AFRAID to speak the truth. They would rather forfeit their freedom to a band of fundamentalist thugs, ot "support" them in the mistaken belief that by so doing, they might somehow, someday be able to accumulate THINGS like many western countries enjoy! Why aren't Muslims of ALL walks of life, but most especially their religious leaders, LOUDLY CONDEMNING barbaric acts by their fundamentalist extremists? Is it because they lack any moral courage at all, or is it because they agree to this insanity? Either way, it undeniably reflects terribly on ALL Muslims. Clearly, beheadings, using power drills on people before shooting them (including infants) in the head, flying planes into buildings for NO reason, etc. are acts of the BARBARIAN and should necessitate the STERNEST response, and that response should be just as hard on those who harbor them. Bush had it right all along! Liberals are weak!

I keep getting muslim is a religion of peace, yes, peace that follows death maybe. Muslim are "tolerent of others believes", ha, they are brainwashed to believe that when they kill all non believers only then is their utopia, Westerners are built on a mix of beliefs and non beliefs, if we dont believe in what our neighbor believes we dont go and kill them, I mean it gives a new job meaning to exterminators. Instead of bugs, it'll be for people who bug us. Its a crazy world in crazy times. Everyone has there brainwashed views on things no one has the truth, unless you know someone who actually is still alive at age 300 and making sense when asked questions....When wars are won, the history is changed every time, how many people know about the true history, none, because all people have a version of there own side. Its like watching a sport and routing for one team, you know the stats that might better the odds but doesnt ensure a victory..
