According to the most recent polls his general support is only 40% of the American people. He seems to have fallen into the same trap Lyndon Johnson fell into in Vietnam!

I don't agree with him for many reasons, but the main one is because he chose the wrong route when he chose Iraq to wage war on first...that's why we don't have Bin Laden. If we had focused our war on Bin Laden first, we'd have him already...Saddam would have still been there to catch later...going after him first made it easy for Bin Laden to hide deep...Bush was just upset at Saddam because his dad was...Bush Sr. had unfinished business that Jr. decided to finish...too bad...now Bin Laden is still out there and we are no where near close to catching him....

Yes I do! The terrorists know only toughness, they don't tolerate any weakness in their society or structure and eliminates it when it does. They've seen a President who doesn't back down from them or the antiwar whiners in our country. Should he at any point weaken they will attack us like we've never imagined and that is why it is so important to stay the course. Not for any other reason but to stay tough. Look what's happened to the other countries that have weakended only it would be worse for us. The Vietnam war was a different war that didn't have the terrorist we have now.

if you believe agenda polls, that basically means both sided polls, any way when you crack the nut open and get to the ediblie part you realize all politicians are crooks and liars no matter what side of the coin....I support President Bush because he is president voted in by the majority, whether I agree with all his political judgements doesnt matter, its not just Bush that makes the decisions then he'd be king, its a flawed but human government body that runs the United States of America not just the commander in chief, the day the commander n cheif becomes all powerful, run.....

Yes.

I support my President. I do not agree with a lot of things he does, but I didn't agree with pretty much anything Clinton did and i supported him as well.

I do not think one was better than the other in pretty much any way except Bush actually took action against terrorist attacks and Clinton did not.

Iraq is a different subject. You wanted a short answer..

No. He's an arrogant cowboy who won't face the fact that he has lied to the people and just about destroyed the country with his ill thought out war and his attachment to corporations rather than the good of the people. There is no way you can say he has secured the country while he turns his back to millions of illegals here and does nothing to stop drugs coming into the country, but stops low cost medicine coming here for the elderly.

I never even called him my president until 9/11. On that day like a lot of people, he really did become my president. Unfortunately I ceased to call him my president the day he started the war with Iraq. Starting a war is about the most un-American thing I can think of. We don't start wars-we finish them. So no I do not support Bush. He has lost all credibility with the majority of our country and should be impeached. To the extremists that support him I say open your eyes and you will not like what you see.

He's not my President (This is supposed to be Yahoo UK & Ireland?) so my support is irelevant, apart from the fact that our PM seems to be completelty up his a r se.
But I don't support him because he is anti-science and pro conservative christianity. Under him, the term 'Scientific American' will soon become an oxymoron'

Yes, although not happy with everything he's done, I always thank God Gore was not in office when 9/11 happend. At that, as now, the left is to weak on defense. If we weren't the power nation, we would be living under a different flag right now. God bless America, god bless George W. Bush.

Yes. I do firmly belive that if Gore had won, we all would be wearing turbans on our heads now. He may not be the most eloquent man, but at least you can tell he means what he says. Honesty and integrity of purpose are enough to gain respect.

No. He puts profits over everything. He has done more as an individual to make America a hated target of terrorists than anyone else in history!
