Proof that Islam is THE religion of peace:
Thousands of innocent people killed in the World Trade Centre; other innocent people killed in Madrid and London to name just two places. Innocent hostages beheaded in Iraq. A nun murdered because the Pope quoted some words from history. Images of the Pope burned and calls for him to be murdered.
Have I missed something?

Since the 9-11 holocaust, we have had Bush, Blair & Co. to launch a reign of terror in other parts of the world while ensuring constant fear among their own citizens! Now, we have a new religious element added - Pope! So, the company name is to be changed to Bush, Blair, Pope & Co.
Anyway, the Pope has done a disservice to Christianity around the world rather than provoking another religion by making statements which are unwanted and totally unwarranted at this juncture of chaos and confusion in the world! Does he have anything to quote or say about the bloody conflict between Catholics and Protestants witnessed in Northern Ireland?

So much for the religion of peace! It still perplexes me how people can say that they are so tame. Look at them! They insult Christianity every single day and one remark(not even of the Pope's own words) sends the world into shock and disbelief! It's hard for me to comprehend those who defend the Muslims for acts like these....

Islam is not a violent religion. the people who are violent are not true Muslims. Jihad is a peaceful expression of your religion. Muslims didn't shoot nuns in the back, either. That was Bush.

there can never be a religion of peace and that's because humans aren't peace full and we didn't survive by being that way either and I'm a bit religious and i have no problem with we can just try to better our self.i think it's wrong to call any religion peaceful because we aren't and we as humans are the one who follow them right

Well, I understand your sentiments, but you cannot classify any religion as unpeaceful just because of the actions of a hand full.
Jesus Christ paid the ultimate price by laying down his life to wash our sins. Prophet travelled around selflessly to spread the word of God and to heal the hearts of many.
Just because there are extremist around us, we cannot classify our family, friends and our kinds as enemies.

Religious wars have taken place,yes!! I don't see much difference in a fundamental muslim and a self-rightous christian; they both think they are right and everybody else is wrong.
