How can anyone on this planet - religion, politics, and personal emotions aside - possibly justify a well documented policy that calls for action to be taken against anyone choosing not to comply (and one action is not merely brutal, but mandated!) to an event - not even a policy! - which occurred in 1096? 1096!! Bear in mind also, Alexis Comneus felt pilgrims were being attacked on their way to worship! And it was Pope Urban II - some 1000 miles and more than a few days away! - that ordered the crusades. This is now the 21st century we live in ppl! Where, and more importantly, when, does common sense enter our thoughts and begin to affect our actions? Have we not learned anything?

What can we do to kick Chavez out of this country? He does not have the right to come onto American soil either at the UN or in Harlem to spout off his anti-American rhetoric and quite possibly inciting an insurrection. The right to free speech is guaranteed for American citizens NOT for foreign dictators.

It seems today there are many more polarizing views out there. At the same time we have many folks who have chosen the label Moderate or Independent.
Are these folks who are truly open minded or is this simply a safe place where one can waffle on issues from time to time?

I noticed that American, The Beautiful is being played at some sporting events instead of The Star Spangled Banner? I thought I remembered during Gulf War I, someone saying something about not playing The Star Spangled Banner at sporting events while we are at war. Does anyone else remember or know of this?

How do two foreign dictators (Chavez and Ahmadinejad) who have declared death to America and have likened our very own president to the "devil" and "Hitler" be allowed to come onto American soil and continue with their anti-American rhetoric with no repercussion whatsoever? Now, Hugo Chavez is in Harlem, NY continuing with his agenda and actually received a standing ovation. He is inciting an insurrection by doing this.

They control the Executive, Legislative and Judicial branches of government. They have the power to do just about anything they want, and have exercised that power for the last several years. If we fail in our war on terror and lose control of Afganistan and Iraq to the terrorist, shouldn't they get all the blame?

Can we come up with real suggestions to help us unite? In the 60's they got it right. There was a charmer(Martin) and a soldier(Malcolm). They didn't want to see a race war ,so they did everything to keep Martin happy so they wouldn't have to deal with Malcolm. Do you think there are too many people trying to lead?
