honestly i think its wrong - we as a country have our own problems. why should we be the WORLD police? we have people that are homeless, kids that go to bed hungry and our education system shucks. i say take care of home first and then worry about every one else. they can send aid to other countries and yet new orleans and the gulf coast has yet to receive aid

I think we are compounding mistakes made by others before we got there and making a few new mistakes along the way. I don;t think Democracy is like some canned food you can just ship over where ever please. I don't think most Middle Eastern countries are ready for Democracy. They don't seem to be that far from the Stone Age from an intelligence stand point.

i think if we wrested power and control from the elite, especially the financial control, we could be very prosperous and secure without being in the middle east ... we could create many more jobs switching over to alternate energy sources, concentrate on defense technologies instead of preemptively blowing everyone up, and we could foster more cooperation and national pride amongst ourselves reducing crime by making sure our education system and media kept people informed so they all worked together towards things that are positive instead of the present deception of the population that gets people supporting things that benefit the corrupt money vultures seeking more personal power. its not about helping other countries "get democracy" and freedom either ... *** that ... we need to worry about family and ourselves first ...presently we our ruining ourselves supposedly tyring to help others and i think its a lie.
