For instance, if one euro is about .80 USD. Or Uk pound has more value than USD. What is the reason that makes euro or pound higher than USD. If we say, that exchange rates and the value of a currency depends on the economic power, I hope USA has more economic power than UK or may be EU countries.

I spoke to a neocon today regarding this and his claim was "no". I don't know but it seems to me if you are signing trade agreements, setting a minimum wage and controlling interest rates then you just might have an effect on someone's worklife.

Why do they parrot back the same B.S. that they hear from other conservatives/Republicans? Can they not think for themselves? Seriously, it's pathetic. You guys can't even back yourselves up when you call us that name. The President has said "I am the decider!" and made it clear he doesn't have to follow every law he personally believes is "unconstitutional"...we have a reason to call him a fascist and/or Nazi. For some reason, I never took the time to look at the JFK video of his assaination. I guess my generation didn't really think about JFK and his legacy. I must say that the whole thing was so horrific that I almost vomitted. It was so upsetting to see his skull be blasted open, his brain matter scattered over the car, and his scalp flapping in the wind. But the most moritfying thing was seeing his poor wife desparately trying to collect his brain matter from the car in pure shock, terror, and insainty. Did she think she could put it all back into his skull and sew it back up? This was a living man, a handsome charasmatic man that on video and instantly had his head explode for everyone to see. I began to cry and wonder how something like this could happen everyday in our lives. It made me appreciate life.

God, it was so horrible, was anyone else as moved by this film as I was?

Do you actually think the government would allow media outlets to do stories on these topics if they occured in the US? Would they keep it quiet? If so, why do you think? Of course, another attack on U.S. soil could be avoided. But now with the "war on terror" creating more terrorist breeding grounds, and the escalating tensions with Iran and Venezuela...you never know.

For God's Sakes! Even Bush himself finally admitted (multiple times) that Saddam Hussein was not affiliated with Al-Qaeda or 9/11!
