I hope they're not lying, but at the same time i wonder why they would lie about this.

I dunno what the French would gain by lying about this. I have to look into this issue more.

I don't trust the media 100%, and to "know" that Osama is dead, they'd have to have other pertinent information, like where he died, where he was found, etc., etc., disclosing his location. We've been over there how long now? And we haven't "been able" to find him.
I'll believe it when I see the thug's corpse.

The french always lie. The last good thing they ever did was to help us out during The Revolutionary War. Since then they have been nothing but a bunch of spineless little white-flag-waving liars.

The French is not lying because, they are tired of the American war in Iraq.They want the world to know about this guy,Osama and his gang.I am glad that it is about time we withdraw our troop little by little from Iraq.135,000 men and women went to war and a few are able to come home.American is paying for this war bill while trying to collect from her friends and this is the way the French is not going to contribute and now is the rest of a story.

They would be willing to lie—maybe for money. Their next step would be to surrender—but to whom? If Osama is dead it would be the second good thing that I have heard about typhoid fever (my father survived it).

Does it really matter after the damage is done?
Maybe he ran out of film in his camera so he can't be broadcast anymore to take responsibility for his terrorists acts. He is a sick man, with a sick doctrine that is fed to and taught to even sicker minds. God help us all.

If bush would have kept his butt in Afghanistan & hunted down Osama bin Laden like he was suppose to, then we would know for sure whether he was dead or alive.

Alive or dead, if the present administration had him or any info on him they would keep it on ice till the election.
Note that it's nearly Nov. (mid term elections) and now rumors and hints are showing up.
