I spoke to a neocon today regarding this and his claim was "no". I don't know but it seems to me if you are signing trade agreements, setting a minimum wage and controlling interest rates then you just might have an effect on someone's worklife.

Be it insurance, OSHA, wages, Workman's comp, or taxes, transportation, trade laws, etc... Government is involved.

The Federal Reserve sets the interest rate, not the party in Power. Bush has no more control over it than Clinton or any othe politician for that matter. Raising the Minimum wage could actually have a negative affect on your job. If the employer can't afford to pay 3 of you at the new wage, guess what? yes...one goes.....so what did you gain? Or say he keeps the three workers and the widgets you were building now cost too much to be competetive to Walmarts's widgets, so now you all go. Go back to cause and affect .

Government corrodes our life.

The only agreement needed on trade is one that does not interfere with trade (with no trade in slaves, children and WMDs).

Minimum wage laws should be repealed.

Federal Reserve and interest rate caps repealed.

It's affecting everyones job and lives. With the combination of having to compete with wetbacks, gays, and afros for jobs, Mexicans work for less. blacks sue if they don't get hired for the good paying jobs. And Gays well, they scream discrimination too, that combined with the price of gasoline, us poor white people ain't got much of a chance now a days!!!
