Why do they parrot back the same B.S. that they hear from other conservatives/Republicans? Can they not think for themselves? Seriously, it's pathetic. You guys can't even back yourselves up when you call us that name. The President has said "I am the decider!" and made it clear he doesn't have to follow every law he personally believes is "unconstitutional"...we have a reason to call him a fascist and/or Nazi. But you guys have no reason to call us Commies. COME ON! Welfare programs? Is that why? Well it sure as hell beats having less money in the pockets of average middle class citizens...which is an effect Bush has created.

Ted Kennedy, thanks for proving my point. You didn't even have close to a decent defense for your point. Exactly what i am talking about. Thanks again :)

Julie A is acting more like a communist or a dictator than most people i have seen so far. Saying that all the free-thinking liberals should be imprisoned for treason shows a sharp distinction between itself and the ideals of free speech (or democracy for that matter).

Is anyone able to do a good job defending calling us communists? Anyone?

I guess not. I knew from the start my point would be proven.

I realize calling Bush a Nazi is a little misguided...but i suppose Dictator is a better term. Since obviously, he cares little for the separation of powers. It's sad to see how Bush apparently believes he is the head of the executive AND legislative branch. This is why Democrats must take back Congress in November.

Yeah, No one is thinking for themselves in the conservative arena of ideas. We don't see liberal ideas and realize that much of it was already tried and failed under communism. Okay, all sarcasm aside. It is alittle rude, the whole commie lib thing. But Bush is far from being a nazi and you just labeled him that. In fact, your labeling Bush a nazi is more extreme than Cons labeling libs as commies. Nazism is alot more taboo than Communism. I think both should be taboo. But there are many in the U.S. who are communist and are not as hated as those who are Nazis. I would say Nazi is a more devisive word.

Speaking of pathetic, you don't even have a clue what a Nazi is, or what the Constitution says (or doesn't say), let alone why it says what it says. You had better check your figures about money in peoples pockets. The economy is still very robust. The Federal government is taking in 20% more in income taxes than a year ago. Just last week they set an all-time one day record. But to call liberals "commies" these days, one only has to look at the leaders that have taken over the DNC. Today, Harry Truman would have been tarred and feathered faster than Joe Lieberman. JFK would have been spit on. Why, because those gentlemen would have never put poltics before the security of our country at a time of war!

"Communism is an ideology that seeks to establish a future classless, stateless social organization, based upon common ownership of the means of production and the absence of private property. It can be classified as a branch of the broader socialist movement. Communism also refers to a variety of political movements which claim the establishment of such a social organization as their ultimate goal."

"Democrats believe that the most effective way to increase opportunity for our families is a high quality, good paying job. ..."

Doesn't say ANYTHING about putting SKILLED workers in those positions ...... where are all these HIGH QUALITY, GOOD PAYING jobs going to come from if you're ANTI-big business...it is big business that CREATES the jobs......

"We will join 36 other industrialized nations in making sure everyone has access to affordable health care..."

-Which industrialized nations? Socialist nations? Who is going to pay for everyone to have healthcare?????

"we’ve worked to pass every one of our nation’s Civil Rights laws, and every law that protects workers..."

-while protecting is one thing, over protecting another....ACLU...protecting the civil rights of pedophiles...
too many laws that clog the system and the cost is passed on to guess who????? Backing Unions??? Unions=more pay for less work...

As for calling Republican's Nazi's..when is the last time you looked up the definition??
Here:Nazism refers to the ideology held by the National Socialist German Workers Party

Nazi economic practice concerned itself with immediate domestic issues and separately with ideological conceptions of international economics.

Domestic economic policy was narrowly concerned with three major goals:

* Elimination of unemployment.
* Creation of a militarily oriented economic program.
* Expansion of production of consumer goods to improve middle and lower-class living standards

What part of the Republican party is Socialist?

Basically, this all boils down to under educated political party name calling......none of it holds water....if you have a brain of your own and don't buy into the propaganda.....
I am neither Dem OR Rep.....

You may try reading Atlas Shrugged by Ayn Rand, you may learn something about communism from someone who was there.....just a thought..

Because communists, liberals, and socialists are of the same mind-set. There is no difference. Wear it proudly if that is what you are. If you don't like youself then start developing some common sense and change your ways. This isn't brain surgery here. Where is little billy anyway? i need another drink 'hic'

I guess calling us liberals has lost it's sting so now we're commies.

Pretty soon they'll call us the devil....oh wait we already have a "devil".

LOL

**note** I'd much rather my tax dollars go toward welfare programs than this immoral war.
