I have never heard of anyone of any political affiliation being afriad or terrified of either Clinton. What are you using as the basis for your question? There are many that dislike both of them and are tired of hearing them spew their crap, but fear has nothing to do with anything. I think people should be afraid of what the next generation will turn out to be like when a President says that oral sex is not sex. I also think people had the right during his presidency to be afraid of what he might do, i mean how can we elect a President that does not know the meaning of the word is? You need to add intelligence to your question next time.

President Bill Clinton is doing very well no matter what and right now his foundation is growing tremendously. He is the man of century and no one cares about what happened in the past.He is popular than ever. The Right Wing group wanted him to go down and he survived his Presidency for 2 terms.and now he even famous than before and Plus his wife The Honorable Senator Hilary Rodam Clinton who will be part of a ticket in the year 2008 Election. It is going to be another event for the world to watch and the Right Wing will not happy about it.Frankly, they hate him and were terrified about his performances.

Many on the left are also terrified of Bush. The right showed a variety of responses Clinton. Your question of why they were terrified is obviously a way to portray them as weak, unsure, small minded, ... etc...

I watched an interview with Bill Clinton a couple years ago where he was asked a similar question.

He said that he felt the Republicans truly believed they had earned the white house and that he angered them because they believed he stole it from them.

My follow-up on this is that I believe from Cheney's pre-emptive strike documentation in 1989 when he was Bush Sr.'s Sec. Of Defense, that he had this conquering of the Middle East planned for decades. Clinton interrupted his plan.

Terrified, meaning unnatural fear.

Keep dreaming. The only people terrified of Clinton were the interns.

I wonder about that too. I mean the 8 years of the Clinton Administration were good for the economy and the government put down the military crack pipe for a brief period.

Honestly, I think that is one of the biggest reasons the right really went after him.

Why dose the left make up such stupid questions. Daaaaaaaam! left whine babies. No one on the right was afraid of a masher and pervert, that couldn't leave the women alone and made a mockery of the Presidency. He didn't carry the mantel very well.

Not terrified, only embarrassed by him. All American’s should have been embarrassed when the leader of our nation, under oath, stated he did not consider “oral sex” as sex. Can you really call that good (use of taxpayer time) and honest?

Because they know he is one of the best presidents in recent memory and that he still has the charisma and a forceful image that can upstage bush anytime.
