They are obviously there to protect morons from theirselves. They collect lots of taxes. It cuts costs of cleaning up dead bodies. It prevents the government from facing opposition when someone's loved one dies because he is not wearing his seat belt. What other laws can we make to benefit the government as well as protect someone from theirself? I think curfews would be good. I think if we shut down all night life such as bars, nightclubs, pubs, ect. that we could also do lots of good. Also, guns are pretty much an accident waiting to happen, we should probably take those away from everyone. Many people who are not smart enough or capable enough waste time and resources persuing tasks which they cannot accomplish. It would be best if everyone were tested to see what they would be best to be doing then assigned to do that task. What ideas can you come up with?

What is at the heart of the islamist soldier? What does he think he will gain from killing Americans? Is there a fault in his brainwashing? How can we as Americans remove the fault?

Does anyone ever look up a word in the dictionary before they use it as a name calling device? How does the American government attempt to exalt nation and often race above the individual and stand for a centralized autocratic government headed by a dictatorial leader, severe economic and social regimentation, and forcible suppression of opposition? Don't these people realize that there is such a thing as National Security and Freedom that in this day and age still only have a few negotiating tools to defend and sometimes require covert actions? What would the opponents of military action around terrorist based countries propose as an alternative to those actions. Utopian society would have us all be able to communicate in each other's languages and resolve our difficulties at the lowest level. How many people are even ready to study Arabic and learn it fluently? If people consider that military action is abusive, what are they willing do to or fund as an alternative?

What Imean is that africans (black people) were discrimnated against before the collapse of the Apartheid era. I was wondering if anyone had any ideas as to whether this situation has been just been reversed and now whites are being discriminated against under the guise of democracy.

Do you think the TV lisence is a fare tax?
we are one of very few countrys that issue a tax on watching TV if not the only?
what we are paying for is the BBC when all the other chanels are free to watch as they pay for them selves through advertising.
The BBC is not an optional medium you have to pay for it even if you dont watch the BBC.
I think if they want us to pay for it then they should make it a subscription chanel not force us to pay for something that not everybody can afford.
The lisencing bourd are thinking of charging a lisence fee for a PC as more and more of us are getting TV channels through our PC?
What do you think to all this?

the only thing that prevented this thing from happening is the fact that the dollar is the worlds reserve currency. but for how long. OPEC countries are already considering switching to euros because with the current system there making less money. this will trigger a chain reaction. what's the point in having dollars if you cant buy oil with them. trillions of dollars will be sent back to the US, the government wont be able to pay and the economy will go into depression. how long before this happens?
