Immigration - February 2007

I have advance parole (I-131) and a pending green card application (I-485). I know an advance parole is valid for 1 year multiple entery but I was wondering what could be the maximum duration I can be outside US continuously without hurting my green card application? Is it 1 year or less? Please let me know. Thanks.

I know that if an international student has a felony on his record, he is deportable,....?
but, what is the possibility for him staying in the USA until he graduates? if he moves to a different state? what are his options whould be so he can stay in the usa at least 3/4 years before he graduates/

I think if you are supportive of keeping illegals out and you drive a foreign car, you should get kicked out too. The way I see it an Illegal Mexican driving a Ford F-150 is more American than the the guy born here driving a Toyota, Honda, Kia, Hyundai, BMW, etc., and I support the people that drive American. Foreign car lovers and owners alike should get deported.

Okay, so maybe not MOST, but a fair few of people on Yahoo! Answers seem to support sending the foreigners back.
I have just flicked through a few questions on race and immigration and the amount of people who have starred the suposid 'racist' questions, the amount of people who have given a bad rating to those who defend foreigners, and the amount of people who have given a good rating to those who seem to not like foreigners is outstanding!

But my question is, if a lot of Yahoo! Answers feel like this, then what is there saying that a lot of the country of England [yes, ENGLAND, not Asia] do not feel the same? Isn't it about time that we sent them back, or started a Civil War to kill them all off?

And don't go on about 'ooooh your so racist, I cannot beleive you said that, I am going to tell Yahoo!' because I actually don't care, if your offended by my question then DON'T READ IT!!!!!!!!!!!!! There are plenty of other questions!

Illegal alien activists claim that the round ups of illegals are are wrong and are only "causing pain." People are afraid to leave their homes. I think they should be doing it more.

I'm a little worried. I know that disorganized immigration brings some problems, but sometimes the comments about inmmigrants seem more like a kind of discrimination. It is an impression I get. If they are such valuable hard workers, as the Mexican government claims, wouldn't they want to keep as many of them in Mexico as they can? They should help us build a fence to keep their valuable populace in Mexico!
