I'm looking for specific examples for a report I'm doing in school. I know we are supposed to be secular, but all of our dollar bills say "in God we trust" and when the president is inagurated he has to swear on the bible, and in a lot of Bush's speeches he uses God's name, and when he declared war he used God's name. Is there any other huge ways that religion is used in this 'secular' state?

The fair tax is a concept written about by neal boortz and congressman john linder. it provides for the elimination of the irs and all withholding taxes and replaces it with a 23% national sales tax on all goods/services. what do you think about it? (personally, i love it!)

I'm currently a graduate student and I've established a career goal. I want to work for the Department of Labor. Specifically the Employment & Training Administration. I've come to realize a lot of times it's who you know instead of what you know, but I'm just trying to get my foot in th door and I don't know where to start. Also, I was wondering if I need to complete my masters degree, especially if I work my way from the bottom to the top?

I am not referring to quality control regulations of the law. If the seperation was to ensure the end of fascism, Fascists use goverment for profit by "encouraging" legislating of new policies and taxes that would ensure a ready made ever lasting source of income whislts the politicians p.r. the program to keep us fooled. Would not outlawing such practise be a good thing ?

all in the name of "decency" we will see the day when the freedom of speech is dead along with freedom to assemble and oppose the government. Fascism does not spring up over night

They know the majority hates what Bush has done to our country. They hate his constant sociopathic, non-stop lying. The Dems know how bad our country is because of what Bush has done, and yet it appears that they would rather have our country and our middle class be destroyed that confront Bush and get him and his stupid vice along with all their Nazi agents out and into prisons and restore our constitution and our country. If they are as bad and corrupt as the Repukes, then our country has no chance of surviving, and somehow Americans have got to go over both parties and do what Jefferson said to do, every 20 years clean out the entire mess and create another government.
