Its really about a killer terroizing a town, he's under a curse and his main target is a Senior in highschool. Turns out her boyfriends father is the killer.
Ok. Heres the problem.
The government is really involved in the book. Its about the government covering up murders 30 years earlier, and a young boys death (the killers younger brother)
I do not know much of the government.
Questions:
Is there a vice governor?
How many years can a governor stay in office per term?
How many times can a governor run for office?

Please&&Thank you!

How many people does the President have the right to make disappear in the name of Terrorism without the benefit of Habeas Corpus? How long is it before he realizes that assuming this kind of power resembles that of a dictator and he uses that power to make you disappear because you object? At what point does the Congress stand up and do its duty to abide by the Constitution and get rid of this C student? If your so willing to give up this kind of power, then didn't Osama succeed, leaving us all shivering in our boots. for fear of another attack? Everyone that answers my question and is willing to give him this power... to do so is treason and you to are guilty. How many of you ever wondered why the Germans followed Hitler and didn't say "NO" or the Italians following Mussolini. Where they treasonous to their Constitution or did the gratification justify the means? We as Americans need to seriously thing about the road we follow and the risks we take with our democracy.

I'm absolutely TERRIBLE with politics and government. In fact, I don't even know whether I'm democrat or republican. If someone could please answer these next few questions for me, you'd be my lifesaver...
1)Does each state government have its own legislative and judiciary branches?
2)Define federalism (on a low enough level that someone who knows nothing about politics can understand it).
3)Define Republicanism (same applies here as above).

Thank you soooooooooooooooooooo much!!!

I asked an Arab friend what his country's response would be to a problem we are having with our school district and he thought I was joking .......

My son wore a cross to school and the school had him remove it as it might offend someone - so I asked my friend what would happen to a Christian wearing a cross in Egypt..

He told me nothing would happen - his Muslim country has no problem with Christians wearing crosses in public , at school or university.

That seems rather strange to me - in the US we are so worried about offending non Christians and political correctness that we are repressing Christians worse than a Muslim repubic govenment.

Anyone else see the irony in that? Opinions please.

why when the UK is 5% of co2 emissions should we worry? china and and developing countries produce more and are increasing co2 output.
If we decrease output while others increase their output what is achieved.
In this country the only benefit is to the government in the revenue it gets from its "Green Taxes"
This does not benefit the environment but only gives more in taxes.
Import taxes from countries that are environmentaly poor is the only answer so when they clean up their act their taxes reduce - simple isn't it
Stop taxing us and tax the people that are incresing the co2

Re the `child benefit info` fiasco. Now can we really trust the government with all our `indentity card` info? They keep saying `sorry, next time we will will get it right` - but they never do.

Surely this is a wake-up call to all of us - the red light. How many times do we need warning...or are we too apathetic to care, until it is too late?

Just imagine ALL our info - every single citizen of the UK falling into the hands of...!
The mind boggles.

The architect of the NHS. A poor Welsh miner's son who had worked himself up to a position where he was able to implement change to help the less fortunate in Britain.

His achievements make me proud to be Welsh. Oh for politicians of his ilk today instead of the useless bunch of self serving greedy middle class glory hunters currently wasting our time and money in Westminster.
