E. none of the above. On an average day DURING a session you will see one or two senators, a handful of pages, and that's it. Unless there is a major bill to be voted on the vast majority of the time the place is virtually empty except a senator reading something into the record or a page holding a senator's place in line.

I was born in D.C. and spent my summers showing visitors the sights. I've entered the chamber dozens of times.
