Just mention taxes, and everyone gets their panties in a bunch.
"The Death Tax", property taxes, gas taxes, state taxes, sales tax, capitol gains tax, blah, blah, blah. We all think our tax burden is unacceptable, unreasonable, or having to support programs and gov't functions which threaten our faith, family, or moral code.
Why isn't there a way for federal taxes, which are deducted each paycheck, to be paid quarterly instead.
Every three months, we would write a check to pay what we must, BUT..one of those checks, (of our choosing) goes directly for whichever area of the gov't we decide is best.
Got kids? and a parent in poor health? give some to D O Ed and some to HHS or Medicare. Generations of your family served in the military? to the VA or military appropriations.Just one quarter of the taxes we pay. They would have to find a way to function with the money they end up with.
And if the residents of those 2 small Alaskan towns want a bridge, let them foot the bill.

People vote for a party and don't even know who they are voting for. Do you think that this is right, and should we have to vote for each individual?

In real life, the US President is supposed to be the most powerful man in the country.

However, some movies suggested otherwise. They claimed there are other secret organisations (government or non government) that are more powerful than the US President in the country.

Do you think it can be true? Do you think there are really other secret organisations that are more powerful than the US President?

(they say that all great empires fall at one point or another for example roman, ottoman etc.) do you think that americans are egotistical when it comes to this? Do americans believe that just because we are a powerful and influential country that the U.S. can never falter as a nation, I think that 9-11 is a good example of this? Do you think that in the future america might fall like all the mighty and powerful empires in the past?

"Freedom of Religion", do you think it was possible that they meant freedom of denomination? Do you THINK they really meant all religions, even those outside of Christianity? Do you THINK any one of the Framers left England to practice any other world religion?

19th Amendment? I didn't believe it until I saw it on one of those conspiracy web-sites. You know, like the ones that say we attacked the World Trade Centers.

If everyone voted over the age of 18 wouldnt this in itself give a better picture of how the country was thinking ,and at the same time break the two party monopoly.

There has to be enough black people to get some voice in government.

From what I understand it is very difficult to maneuver a fully loaded and fueled commercial jet liner at low altitudes and hi speeds into the WTC. I have a friend that is a pilot and he is unable to do it in a simulator.

Maybe the terrorist pilots had just a bit more training than we were told about, i.e. small engine training in Florida... maybe they had military training???

Just a thought.

Most countries have blamed my country was Indonesia coz of the terorism which established by the most moslem religious (not to all moslem but it might be the different one sect of moslem).

Howsoever, as we are as an Indonesian christian people who as minority one in my country are also hardest to get visas or entry permit either for holidays, conference or meeting required, or it might be to apply for a job in canada/US.

But a lot of Australian or/and Canadian/US companies and its people are allowable to work and stay more longer in our country.

I felt that `its an unafair solution. Either Australia or/and Canada/USA looks sound satisfied into "sow the seeds" in our country, then "to reap the fruits", then bring back "the fruits" to your country.

We can called it as a " Softly Collonialism" or a " Modern Hi-Tech Collonialism"?

very unfair solutions.
