"Islamic fascist" seems to be the latest/greatest buzzword to describe terrorists (and inaccurate primarily because they have no state.) But maybe Iran fits this category? I think "regional empirialist" seems closer, but not sure...

I was watching this show on nine eleven last night, and if Bush would have put money into this tearorist act. If he did nine eleven may not have happened. Nine eleven was he's fault and it was planned by Bin Laden. Do you think Bush let Bin Laden go ahead and kill us in Nine Eleven?

Someone said they are fighting in Iraq to give me freedom. How can that be? If Iraq is 10,000 miles away and it survives or becomes destroyed how can that affect me? I was told if we lose Vietnam we would all die a horrible death. Well, we lost Vietnam and I'm doing just fine. So tell me again how fighting in Iraq will give me a wonderful life.

Sweden will be the first oil-free country in the world by 2020
The Swedish government has announced that Sweden is planning to become the world’s first oil-free country by 2020. Will they make it?

Sweden, 2020: the world’s first oil-free economy

Could you imagine a world without oil? A car running without petrol? A country working entirely on clean energy? Well, the Swedes have.

In October 2005 the Swedish Minister for Sustainable Development, Ms Mona Sahlin, announced that Sweden aims to become the world’s first oil-free country by 2020.

The Swedish government wants to cut-off completely the nation's dependency on fossil energy and switch to clean, renewable energy. That means that Sweden will become the first country in the world to stop using oil. Cars in Sweden will be environmentally friendly and homes will be heated by renewable energies such as biomass or geothermal sources.

Promises dim for the nation's poor 1 hour, 56 minutes ago

Illuminated by lights fit for a Hollywood movie set, President Bush stood in New Orleans' Jackson Square on Sept. 15 and tried to reassure Americans that the darkened and flood-ravaged city would be saved.

For that brief moment, domestic poverty shared the presidential spotlight. Bush acknowledged the dismal relief effort that Americans had witnessed on TV. Poor people who were unable or unwilling to evacuate the city were stranded on the roofs of their flooded homes or at the Louisiana Superdome and the city's convention center.

Bush said the region's deep, persistent poverty was rooted in the nation's "history of racial discrimination." He promised to confront this malady "with bold action."

But when the lights dimmed, so did the promise to make poverty and discrimination national priorities.
