Where have you been for the past 30 years. Why do you think our presidents visit the Vatican. It surely isn't to give them a peace placard. It wasn't that long ago that we restarted diplomatic relations with a country, that is not a country. The Vatcan can hardly be called a country.

i can't really guess
but sooner or later that will happen
neither do i think china will
soooooo many countries are getting more and more powerfull
and 1 pnt: USA doesn't have everything.or something powerfull to keep it standing 1st
for example .petroleum.and gas..thats something if USA had enough without the need to buy....it would help
like in the countries of the arabian gulf and venezuela u can laod ur car and have it full with gas withonly 2$ or less
but i also dont think those countries will come 1st
i guess 1 nation will come up and surprise us all

Are you implying the United States is an empire? You are sadly misguided. The United States is not the "leader" of the world. The U.S. simply has the most influence over other nations becuase it has the most wealth and greatest military.

Not sure how long we will be the leader of the world, but I agree with you, USA can not do it for ever.
China I think will be the next one.

At the rate we are going it may be less than a decade. It's possible for things to turn around though. It depends on the positive volition of our people. I have seen a very strong movement by the negatives going very negative and the positives going very positive. If the positives can grow in number and in strength then we have a fighting chance. It is ultimately in the hand of God though.

Honestly, I don't see that happening... and I'm not American. Everbody keeps talking about China and India but those countries have serious problems of corruption, poverty, and lack of freedom, which represents a serious obstacle to even imagine that they would become the next super world power.

LOL...look around you. It is already over.
Look at the state of Healthcare and Education for example.
Look at how much hatred the world REALLY has for the US.
China will easily be the next superpower within 5 years.

Even if the US is may still be the strongest nation, it's not the leader of the world now, because nobody is following it. It's on its own.
