I'm sure this has been asked before, but you can't really underestimate this question's importance.

And also, do you think he cares?

Freedoms are slowly taken away, government intervenes in every aspect of life, and the actions of majority of the elected officials don't seem to reflect the opinion of majority of polls respondents. Government seems to be more active and successfull manipulating the public opinion rather than solving the problems. Are we still a democracy?

I have been a law student for the last 3 years and have been studying for the bar all summer--not much time. Plus I work at a law firm as an independent contractor, so I am paid in cash and I'm supposed to report that myself. Does anyone know how the IRS know how much I made? Does my boss have to tell them what he's given me if he can remember? I think its getting kind of late in the year being august and all, so quick help is appreciated.

When will Tony Blair learn. The only reason Bush is so eager to stick his nose in other countries problems is that it actually pays him to go to war. Just think of all the money they make from raising the price of oil, petrol, gas etc and unfortunately Tony Blair decides that instead of sorting out problems in the counties he is supposed to be the prime minister of, he jumps on the bandwagon of Bush. What happens to the debt in the nhs, policing problems or the millions of other problems here in the UK.? Well, if you are Tony Blair, you can't see the problems for
all the shite in his face.

is it just plain fear.

Can we make the government positions less desired by croocks? Should the voting history of elected officials be made easily accessible for the public? Should the election campaign expences be limited to a certain amount, paid by our taxes and not by crooks trying to pave their way to greater wealth and political power? Isn't it time for a true multiple party system?
