Obviously, the government can force automakers to make changes for safety's concern. Why not require them to make only fuel efficient vehicles? It is for the well being of the WORLD, as we are about to reach our "Peak Oil" production, and the world will conceivably fall apart and be in turmoil when this happens. We need to cut back on our consumption of oil. The price will only keep going up.

If Hillary Clinton and Mitt Romney were to miraculously win their primaries, who would face the bigger obstacle? Clinton being a woman, or Romney, being a Mormon?

have you watched loose change and read the rebuttals? I have and wonder how it is that one can say it's all rubbish, sure some of it can be refuted, but not all. what about cnn(not that I belive them to be a good resourse for events) reporters saying, live, that it doesn't look at all like a plane hit the pentagon? do you actually belive that the damage to the pentagon was caused by a passenger plane??

if you belive that loose change is full of crap please tell me what news channel you watch on a regular basis.

this shall sufice for now.

"But when a long train of abuses and usurpations, pursuing invariably the same Object evinces a design to reduce them under absolute Despotism, it is their right, it is their duty, to throw off such Government, and to provide new Guards for their future security."

This is quoted from the American Declaration of Independence. That being said, is it time to get rid of our government, which has abused its power to the point of corruption for so long?

This morning I watched a segment by Good Morning America outlining the economic effects of a minimum wage hike. Consumer prices are going to increase, Americans' buying power will decrease, and possibly 1.1 million jobs could be destroyed as businesses try to digest the financial loss that a minimum wage increase will entail. The jobs politicians are trying to improve are going to be lost as companies compensate by cutting positions. I realize it sounds counterintuitive, but raising minimum wage isn't going to help, but hurt. Please tell me if you agree or not and defend your answer. Thanks

Are the East Indies companies back? The people allow corporations to exist to serve us. If we find a corporations serving the shareholder before providing the best product to the people what should we do? They are not people and should not have the same rights.

George HW Bush - incited a revolt to overthrow Saddam. Failed miserably, as Saddam mowed them down with helicopter gunships. Bush ignored their urgent calls for help, even though the UN no-fly zone was being violated. Approximately 300,000 Iraqis were massacred and executed afterwards.

UN Sanctions - approximately 2 MILLION Iraqis starved to death or died of diseases due to sanctions imposed by the Bush administration.

George W Bush - approximately 100,000 Iraqis were killed during the invasion of Iraq. Thousands more have died since due to car bombings.

That's approximately 2.4M Iraqis that died due to the Bush family. So who's the real Butcher of Baghdad?
