Are the East Indies companies back? The people allow corporations to exist to serve us. If we find a corporations serving the shareholder before providing the best product to the people what should we do? They are not people and should not have the same rights.

Shareholders aren't people? Shareholders ARE the people the corporation needs to answer to, since the shareholders are the owners of the company. If the company isn't serving the customer properly the company will lose money (thus the beauty of competition) and then the shareholders are very unhappy. You could say that in serving the customer the company is ultimately serving the shareholder.

I don't think corporations were ever created to serve the people. They were created to make money and to be in a legal position to litigate. See the film "The Corporation" and/or follow the link below for more info on them.

Boycotting products is not sufficient. There are others who may not have sufficient information, or choose not to care, that will support the corporation.

So you also need to bring forth awareness and let your local government officials know. I wouldn't work too hard at the state (and especially national) levels at this time since they are bought and paid for, and the non-response from them you may get too depressed to go on. So work at the local level where you have more control over the lawmakers.
