George HW Bush - incited a revolt to overthrow Saddam. Failed miserably, as Saddam mowed them down with helicopter gunships. Bush ignored their urgent calls for help, even though the UN no-fly zone was being violated. Approximately 300,000 Iraqis were massacred and executed afterwards.

UN Sanctions - approximately 2 MILLION Iraqis starved to death or died of diseases due to sanctions imposed by the Bush administration.

George W Bush - approximately 100,000 Iraqis were killed during the invasion of Iraq. Thousands more have died since due to car bombings.

That's approximately 2.4M Iraqis that died due to the Bush family. So who's the real Butcher of Baghdad?

GHWB (Dumbya's father) wasn't the president in 1990? I guess I should kick my history teacher in the balls.

Btw, "Food for Oil" program was introduced by the Clinton administration.

And how many car bombings occured under Saddam? None that I recall.

CIVICED -

It's true that Sadam gassed as many as 7000 Kurds in the Halabja poison gas attack. But it was mainly done because it was occupied by the Iranian army and the Kurdish rebels that were fighting against Iraq at the time.

Btw, who do you think supplied Saddam with those deadly poison? Reagan and Bush.

Actually you need to check your facts - GW was not President in 1990 but he did lift the bans in 2003. Also if Saddam had not been pocketing the money and paying off UN leaders, with the "money for oil " program his people would not have been under any hardships. Whats the name of that group that is kidnapping and blowing up Iraqi People, ummmm, hold on now-Bush, No, Oh Islamic Extremist (which include all Islamic terror groups)Oh and by the way , Why didn't Clinton during his term of eight years , not lift the sanctions? Must have been something to them--- Oh that's right ,Saddam's committing genocide with nerve gas against his own people and of course his tried occupation and destruction against Kuwait.. Do your homework and Quit Hating !!!!! Your life will be happier:)

I would have to give it up to the US and our use of DU as the true butchers in Iraq and the middle east. The indiscriminat dumping of radioactive waste into the soil of Iraq is going to permenantly salt the earth in this the cradle of civilization.

DU when fired becomes radioactive. The militaries own report acknowledges that the radioactive particles stay airborn long after the round hits its target and creates a cloud of radioactive dust. Already birth defects among Iraqi's and even returning US personnel are at extremely high levels, and gettign worse.

But the destruction isn't confined strictly to Iraq. World wide lung ailments are increasing. This is due to the fact that we all live in this one world and are all connected, what happens in Iraq will effect lives on the other side of the world. Dust from Afganistan regularly is deposited in Texas thanks to the jet stream and the DU we fire in the sands of Iraq will spread around the world killing indescriminatly.

Saddly the US is the true terrorist that is destroying the future generations of the people of Iraq and increasing cancer rates world wide with DU dust.

It is not the job of the US to enforce UN resolutions. Bush did not plant car bombs, the insurgents are. Saddam took the humanitarian aid offerd for medical supplies and food and used it to build palaces.
Educate yourself before making accusations.
The war is going badly, but Saddam was the real butcher.

I don't think we should have gone there at all. However, consider this: When the US is asked to step in ANYWHERE, what exactly are we supposed to do? The exact steps? All the choices are sanctions or bombs. Both have their drawbacks, so I think we should stay out of things and let people work out their own problems. No bombs, trade with who helps us, no foreign aid, no political assylum, just use the money we save to help our own people.

Why don't you go over there and live and ask every person their opinion first hand then come back and start whining again.
I don't see you running for President....
Get real.
