I mean, ever since he has been in office, sooo many countries have turned against us, they just see Bush and they think all Americans are like that and that we all agree with the war.
I just read a question posted by Doogie, and he writes, "Question to Americans: Do you all realize how much the U.K. dislikes you?"
Do you guys like the way the rest of the countries view us? I take offense to it. Why are they judinging us based on the actions of ONE man?

On the terrible day of the 9/11 attacks, five hours after a hijacked plane slammed into the Pentagon, retired Gen. Wesley Clark received a strange call from someone (he didn't name names) representing the White House position: "I was on CNN, and I got a call at my home saying, 'You got to say this is connected. This is state-sponsored terrorism. This has to be connected to Saddam Hussein,'" Clark told Meet the Press anchor Tim Russert. "I said, 'But -- I'm willing to say it, but what's your evidence?' And I never got any evidence.'"

And neither did we.

Go ahead, sheeple. The shrub machine needs mindless fools to do its bidding. Maybe everyone assumed Hezbollah was a bunch of wimpy kooks. I think Israel will find out differently.

Does this scenario sound familiar? An arrogant superpower invades a weak, poor Islamic nation and finds itself in the fight of its life? I thought Israel was smarter to repeat what the Soviets did in Afghanistan. (Then again I thought we were smarter to repeat what we did in Vietnam)

On November 6, 1963, two days after she turned 17, Bush (then Laura Welch) was driving her Chevrolet sedan with her classmate Judy Dyke. It was shortly after 8 p.m. on a clear night when Welch entered the intersection of State Highway 349 and Texas Farm Road 868 (now a four lane highway). Welch drove through the intersection's stop sign and collided with a Chevrolet Corvair sedan killing classmate Michael Dutton Douglas, also 17. Welch and Dyke sustained minor injuries; Douglas was later pronounced dead on arrival at Midland Memorial Hospital. Welch was not criminally charged in connection with the collision. In May 2000, a two-page police report about the car crash was made public, following a Freedom of Information Act request by journalists, due to the refusal of Midland officials to release the information. To this day, she does not talk publicly about the accident

During WWII, the French resisted the occupying German forces by going underground and committing sabotage and other violent retaliations, even though the French had the Vichy puppet regime. Yet, they are called "THE FRENCH RESISTANCE", not "THE FRENCH INSURGENCY". Fast forward to Iraq: The Iraqis are resisting an occupying force (whose reasons for invasion are highly dubious), the US of A. So why are they called with contempt: an "Insurgency", when actually they are a "Resistance"??? I guess the occupying force always demonizes those that resist its occupation.

Does it seem to you that if you have even a slight doubt about why we are in Iraq (or when we should start to think about leaving Iraq), you are branded as a traitorous terrorist-loving kook? Is this what American democracy has become today? If you have an opinion slightly different from the government's opinion, you are viciously and personally attacked. Is this the kind of freedom that we are fighting to protect?
