I mean... George W Bush - the president of the USA!? Is this a representation of the American People!?

Does anyone out there even doubt that he's got the brains of a fish!?

'Yo Blair!' - Yeah George, your cool too!

He may have graduated from Yale - but he certainly lacks knowledge about the world. I may have graduated from Oxford University in Computing, but does that make me suitable to perform brain surgery on you!?

Man, He knows nothing about the world.

The American folk are good folk. I dont blame them for not knowing whats going on past their own back yard. I dont believe that they are 'dumb' as commonly thought around the world. If they were given the opportunity to know about the world they'd embrace it like the rest of us. Its Politicians like GWB who mantain ignorance within the whole nation.

Jeez guys, I'm not a 'liberal' - Im actually British and very centre thinking at that too.

One response so far amuses me..
"if hes so bas then why did he win huh?"
(Award for that one goes to Slipknotmetal00)

Dude, Look past your own backyard and see what the rest of the world thinks. I said before i dont believe americans are in any way of lower intellect than anyone else - but ignorant statements like that give American a bad rep... I mean, are you totally happy to be represented by a man who hardly knows the names of other world political leaders (very influential) or economic terminology and yet he runs the country!?

Are you really happy with a dude who completely went against the United Nations? (We'll go in to Iraq, with or without you)

In the example of George W Bush, he had behind him huge monied interests and pandered to the large constituency of the evangelical religious right.

George Bush may be stupid but he is handled and managed, in puppet fashion by his fathers and his father's cronies, Dick Cheney, George Rumsfield, Carl Rove, and others behind the scenes.

And if you believe in the idage that those with the money make the rules, and if you believe in the corrupting power of campaign contributions, and then when you see injustice and deceptions and abuses, you should look to see what moneyed interest is being satisfied.

For example in the issue of unfettered illegal immigration. While taxpayers bear the costs of social welfare, medical care, and education for these hard working poorly paid people, which is stupid, business interests are reaping the profits from the cheap labor.

And what industry is benefiting from a long protracted quagmires in Iraq and Afghanistan?

And what industry in benefiting from the disgraceful and confusing and inadequate prespription drug program for seniors?

And then look at how many votes will Republicans get by packing the Supreme Court with judges whose religions oppose abortion, by not funding stem cell research, by opposing foreign aid for family planning, by allowing creationism into the public schools, and by financing church programs under the guise of faith based initiates.

In considering these things you will see just how "stupid" men become powerful.

First, he is smart enough to get "appointed" POTUS.... and, I thought the same thing about the Clinton that you think about Bush. Bush is a left of center thinker like Clinton, spends money like a Democrat/socialist, but he manages to have an opinion at times and at times he will take action instead of ignoring issues and events. His brightest spot is this: he does not covet other people's money like leftists do.

Who would you like in office: weak sister Kerry, or "I invented everything" Gore, far left Hillary, grinning Condi Rice, or someone like the idiots "elected" in Europe. Or would you prefer "I ran to a communist country to avoid the draft" Bill Clinton again, the man who continued the policy of appeasment and closing his eyes to national and world problems, including terrorism.

And, you shoudn't accept for a minute that he is the "most powerful man on earth", he isn't. That is just propaganda, he is only as powerful as the World, the citizens of America, and Congress allow him to be.

What, are you like 8 years old? It's time to get off the computer and have lunch. I think mom cut the crust off your sandwich for you.

He did make it through Yale. I doubt very seriously you could.

Edit
Knowledge of the world? You mean he doesn't bow down to world wide pressure. Exactly what I want my leaders doing. He does what he knows is best for the American people.

Edit
It's a bad thing to go against the UN? I didn't think of that, another reason to like my President.

He got to be president because the people voted. Is this a representation of America? Yes, it shows the world how stupid we are for putting into power someone so stupid and arrogant. And I do believe that fish have more brains - they know when to keep their mouths closed. LOL

Well now, if George were capable of doing what he is so often accused of doing by left wing Kool-Aid sucking Ditto-Heads, then he's pretty brilliant.

He went to Ivy league schools, just like John Kerry. Whether or not he was helped there is moot. He did pretty well.

Nah, he's not stupid. In fact, I think he may just be one of the smartest, most savvy politicians to ever exist.

To say he has the brain of a fish is to suggest he even has one.
He's surrounded by filthy people who have stopped at nothing to manipulate the American people. Kind of like a certain European regime of the early 1930's which rose to power through fear and intimidation.
The sad thing is Americans fell for it, twice!

.....I laugh at post lke these. He certainly isn't the stupidest man on earth. That one goes to Tom Cruise. Listen, Bush may make a few mistakes, but he's an intelligent man with a good heart. You liberals complain about the same thing over and over. We all make mistakes. I would love to see you guys in office........that would be the definition of retarded.

By cheating of course. That's the story of his life--cheat to get ahead, get out of serving in Vietnam, cheat by putting mostly blacks on bogus felon's lists so they can't vote, cheat by refusing to let all votes be counted/re-counted, cheat by having only one voting machine per huge Democratic district (so lines will be hours long and machines can conveniently malfunction/break down), utilize voting machines rigged by a Bush Diebold friend and supporter $$$ (who promised to deliver Ohio to Bush) so that there are more Bush votes than people voting....do I have to go on?????

52 million voted for Bush.
48 million voted for Kerry.
78 million eligible voters didn't vote at all.

If this was Iraq the Bush government would not be recognized by the world.
Pretty messed up.

Because voters fall for the strutting and lying and fake idealism that was put into the campaign ads and that right wing media promoted. I think fish might be MORE intelligent.
