Huckabee has reached 17% in the national polls, 2nd place overall, and is now winning Iowa. He is no longer the unknown candidate, he will soon face serious scrutiny, and will need to be strong to carry his (potential) win in Iowa further, due to the lack of organization.
My question is, what problems does he face as a candidate for the nomination?
I feel that the most defining challenge will be whether or not his evangelical followers will be a base to grow from, or a ceiling. Will he be able to format his strong values to appeal to more diverse people?
This is intended for serious debate among Huck supporters or intelligent contributors.
