They don't like him because their minds are made up. They have a candidate they are behind, period.
The Constitution means nothing to them, history means nothing to them, so Ron Paul means nothing to them.
They may also oppose Ron Paul simply because there are many supporters for him.
Well, we see their reasons, and their reasons do not reflect valid methods of selecting the proper path for America. That is why you will not see them offering a solid argument. Most likely just name calling, or stating the obvious "I just dont like him".
*Ron Paul voted to authorize war in Afghanastan. But NOT Iraq....

representative Dr. Ron Paul has been fresh for better that 25 years and he speaks Constitutional fact. obviously some the following do not have self belief this and that i propose that this is because they don't realize the topic matters. by ability of way of demonstrating this i will search for advice from with a remark by ability of pantagruel which shows he (as with others) no longer in basic terms would not hearken to what Dr. Paul is declaring yet would not understand the Constitutional position. providing citizenship to those born of human beings no longer having united states of america citizenship comes from the 14th change. It change into directed at those who were lower than federal jurisdiction alongside with former slaves and American Indians lower than reservation status. This presented a course for such persons to acquire finished citizen status with all rights. It change into no longer if you broke out regulations to get into this united states of america illegally. Their toddlers haven't any such properly and may no longer be eligible for facilities. This has no longer some thing to do with what their moms and dads are doing except that they have got enter the rustic illegally. Legalizing drugs is an totally diverse problem. First, he does no longer recommend using drugs or maybe isn't supportive of the heavy use of pharmaceuticals our medical doctors hand out. neither is he antagonistic to the guy States passing regulations outlawing drugs, yet somewhat is in basic terms antagonistic to the federal authorities passing such regulations. he's taking that position because the federal authorities has no delegated Constitutional skill to make this kind of regulations. It facilitates if human beings make an attempt to genuinely understand the topic matters and what everybody is genuinely declaring about them. those who don't like his techniques do no longer look to appreciate that those are not his techniques yet somewhat the techniques, techniques, and perspectives of the Founders and they positioned them interior of th eConstitution. All Dr. Paul is doing is promoting the perception to implement the structure because this is written.

People are afraid of change and have been so brainwashed by the spin that the media puts on everything that we don't even know what the truth actually is anymore. I find that most people I ask can't give a rational argument for why they support the candidate that they do, they just keep repeating the same things they have heard from the media over and over, without having researched the points they are arguing at all! People in this country as a whole have become too lazy to research things on their own so we trust that our government knows what it is doing, and they would never do anything that does not benefit all of us! If this is the case then why support change? Change is scary and bad and anyone suggesting otherwise MUST be a lunatic!

I agree with part of what the detractors of Ron Paul say about his supporters and I am a supporter. Many do try to monopolize this page. We can take a cue from Ron Paul and put forth the message in a polite, unassuming way.

Ron Paul has excellent view on critical issues and it is the reason why he is getting support from many sectors to challenge Hillary Clinton for the Presidency.
VOTE for your choice as US President on my 360 degrees blog and know if Ron Paul will likely win.

David W - Technically speaking, Paul is not an isolationist. The Japanese were isolationists before they were forced to open up their country to the west for trade. Isolation meaning alone...not communicating with anyone outside the country and not wanting to. What Ron Paul is advocating is a Non-interventionist foreign policy which means our military should not be used to settle political disputes in other countries. Ron Paul is of the thinking that the US military exists to DEFEND the United States and nothing beyond that.

We do not like him because he will be bad for America. He stands for reduced services, regressive taxation, ignoring enrivonmental issues, removing the flexibility from our economy that has prevented a repeat of the Great Depression and isolating us from global attempts to solve global problems. All of these are bad for America.
As for why we do not like ignorant Ron paul trolls who cannot even make a case for thier candidate without either belittling anyone not a Ron Paul fan (as you do) or using trite sound bite claims (such as you do) but cannot actually defend a single one of his policies - well that should be obvious even to you.

I rode on the Ron Paul Float yesterday in my city's Christmas Parade. We weren't paid to do it. Actually, we donated to the maintenance of the float. His supporters are real people, not a bunch of brainwashed-I'll vote for the most popular person for Homecoming Queen- people. Some people just don't have common sense. We are real. And they are afraid.

Or because they hold a different political philosophy.
BTW to the first poster, Isolationism is not the policy that Paul advocates. He just doesn't think we should mettle in the internal affairs of other nations, and try to police the world.
If you want isolationism, read about North Korea.
