Back story: For the second time in two days, senior staff members in the Clinton campaign have had to leave (at least on paper) because of "unauthorized" statements that are simply slander of a most vicious nature. Just like the staff that resigned (and came here?) after spreading the lie that Senator Obama is a Muslim.

When Hillary apologized to Senator Obama yesterday for her people planting the seeds of hate, he responded "If you can't control your campaign staff, how will you control a country?"

Too bad it was off camera. Perhaps one of the best points of the Iowa campaign. How many more such "slips" do you think we can expect?

I see no difference between women supporting Hillary and the religious right supporting Huckabee. Or black people supporting Obama.

I've heard it's because Huckabee shares the same morals and values - and knows what you need. But, if you're going to generalize that he has what is good for ALL Christians then the same thing can be said about Hillary. A generalization would be she understands what women face and will do her best for all women.

i was just wondering how many of you out there think it's kinda scary that Huckabee follows the Bible for EVERYTHING and that he and Romney had a religious debate...???

i just think thats ridiculous because what happened to SEPARATION of church and state???? they shouldn't even be debating these things in the first place...! i'm just afraid that if Huckabee gets elected he's going to constantly quote from the Bible and have religious play a huge part in society and government... (which by the way is against the Constitution)

what do you guys think!? i'm not looking for a debate i'm just looking for some input/opinions. feel free to say whatever u want. i'm an open mind and will not be offended

Since when does someone's name matter? Well i guess it does because thats the only reason Hillary has a chance, but other then her.... Is it not about ideas, morals and principles?

Another 'problematic' attack on Mike Huckabee.
http://www.politico.com/news/stories/1207/7401.html

Headline:
"Huck's gift-givers ended up in state posts"

Subtext:
"Most of the posts Huckabee’s benefactors landed were on unpaid boards and commissions. Not all of the gifts came before the appointments — several came from old friends and there’s no clear evidence of any quid pro quo."

Unpaid posts? Not exactly sinister here... ;)

Question: Despite two weeks of attacks, Huckabee's numbers have only steadily increased. So the question is....

Are the attacks helping him in some way? Have the focus on ridiculous issues (AIDS, rapist, 'bribes') rather than more problematic concerns (taxes), only made Huckabee look better?

Or is he rising despite these attacks(Poor performance from competition)?

Please no "I hate Huck" or "I love Huck." Looking for an analysis on a debatable issue. Will report inappropriate responses.

does anyone in any party actually think she is doing all this for America?

Why the rule made barring presidents not to serve more than two terms in USA? Is it not undemocratic?Say the man is popupular and he wants to serve more but he has already served two terms now why he will not be allowed to contest for presidency if his party and countrymen wants him as president? I find no reason, some one is requested to explain.

If you had the opportunity to ask only ONE question to any of the candidates running for presidential office next year, (democratic or republican), who would you ask and what would you ask him/her?

Nevermind the Muslim propaganda! Look at the tenants of his "christian" church". Wow! Might as well be the black panther party! Un-Freaking-Believable! And you want THIS as our next president?! Talk about RACISM! Look at their website carefully and look at the writings of it's parishoners!
