It means he'll have more to spend on advertising/self-promotion.. I'll be helping him make that goal ;)

it means that he can hang on and keep struggling to make himself seen and heard. he makes sense if you read the details. received a brochure about health care and learned how much sense he really makes.

the reps will never let him be their candidate but he is getting more and more exposure. he is too smart to actually think he stands much chance of reps picking him. but if he has plans of running independent when the rep man is named, he will have gained valuable exposure.

the thing is, ross perot paid millions to run independent. ron paul doesn't have deep pockets like that. he cannot do what perot did. he can be the spoiler and cut deals. he could hurt either the dem or the rep candidate.

in any case, a vote for ron paul will say how fed up you are with business as usual. the lobbyists and insider bs has been talked about before. maybe this time people will stay mad about it and strike back.

Money helps get the message out. Raising the amounts he has recently have brought him notice as well, especially since it comes from individuals, not corporate powers, whose money he does not take..It shows that his support is growing rapidly. The odds for him winning have gone from 200/1 to 6/1.in Las Vegas. The way this money has been raised says a lot in itself. It has not been raised by a paid staff, but by volunteers who believe in Dr. Paul and his message. Since the mainstream media has ignored him, finding other venues, is of major importance, and expense., as is tv and radio time. but one thing that gives him good coverage at no cost is the internet . Because of it .people have been able to become educated, informing themselves and others, Reading Dr. Paul's history, Congressional and personal, makes converts out of many, They in turn have used the internet to make these very respectable sums happen to support him. I think it is snowballing.

It means he's one small step closer to getting the Republican nomination for President.
The more money your campaign is able to raise, the more advertising you are able to pay for.

Since T. V. came on the scene some 50 years ago, many people rely on T.V. to give them a direction in voting and comparing candidates....

However, this election is different because Ron Paul is gathering money, momentum, support, and an avid group of staunch campaigners, mostly thru the Internet, that are fed up with politics as usual,,,,where nothing really changes except the names of the candidates.

Ron Paul proudly calls himself,"A Champion of the Constitution!!! And I Support Him!

Well if you do the math from his 4.2 million in one day. 4200000 \ 37000 voters = $113.51 per voter then 12000000 \ $113.51 average donation would equal 105,718 voters.

It means that his support keeps going up and that means that his opposition from the media is going to go up too.
