The roll call vote, for your reading pleasure...and I'm happy that there are so many dems on the list who aren't ready to surrender:

What surprises me is that the democratic leaders was actually able to sell their crap to their party in the last election.
Democrats has got to be smarter than that...did they really think they would be able to go in there and just stop giving money to support the troops?
Is was never going to be able to happen. Having the numbers in the Senate and House was just for bragging rights..it didn't really mean anything did it?
All it has created is more rhetoric. "America has spoken"..."they want change"..."they want democrats".....but what has really changed?

The only thing that has really changed is that they can no longer place all the blame on the republicans controlling the house and senate.....they will now have to face the music in the next election.

Yea, that's kind of messed up.. But what can ya do? They vote against funding and reps eat them alive saying they "hate the troops".. They have to vote for it.. There's no other way.. Being somebody who pays attention and know's how politics works, in the long run... They have not let me down..

They have delivered on some issues.. And the fact that they are even having a debate and not invading Iran right now tells me they are doing something. The main issue, that many dems (mainly people who don't truly understand) don't get, is that we need a president on our side.. Then "hopefully" and I mean "HOPEFULLY" the real issues will get solved..

But look at your own side for once.. Complete control for 8 SOLID years.. What has gotten done? Illegals run rampid, abortion is still high.. Debt is OUT OF CONTROL.. Sh@#'s F'd up!! Just admit it!! Your beloved reps continuously fail you.. There isn't a conservative bone in any of your candidates bodies.. Except for the one who your leaders hate and may very well cause havic to the 3rd world.. Just sayin....

They did do something. Nancy Pelosi says no more smoking during sessions and they passed a tax bill. I have a very interesting tidbit of information I came across while surfing the news. It is as follows:
The Washington Post reported Sunday that interrogation methods now widely reviled on Capitol Hill evoked very different reactions in September 2002, when the horror of the Sept. 11, 2001, attacks was fresh. Back then, four senior members of Congress -- including Nancy Pelosi, now speaker of the House -- got a thorough briefing on waterboarding and other techniques used to extract critical information from terror suspects.
Their response? No one objected, and "at least two lawmakers in the room asked the CIA to push harder," two U.S. officials told the Post. This little story came from the ChicagoTribune.com

i won't be able to believe they actually went with John Kerry in 2004. What a gadget he's, that election ought to have been a slam dunk. possibly Dumbya has effed up plenty the stupid Dems can get their act mutually and unite and win, except Nader runs back.

the "pull out now" crowd was only 16% of the voters at the last polling I saw -- maybe the non-candidate Democrats can read polls??

alas, the 16% are the active wing of the Democratic party -- which is why Al Gore {"I invented the internet"} and John Kerry {"I got an honest discharge -- honestly, I did"} were the two most recent Democratic nominees.
