Most Republicans would feel more comfortable with Obama than Clinton.

Both have their pro's and con's for Repubs. However, I feel that given the Bush administration the Democrats have a few cards on their side. Clinton would arouse more anger and opposition, which is needed to kill that momentum, than Obama.

I feel that Hillary would be easier to beat. Besides, since she is the front-runner, she must be the most vulnerable to defeat. The Democrats have done a great job throwing away elections recently with terrible candidates.

Both have their own vulerabilities. Hillary is extremely unlikeable. She has the highest negative ratings of any of the candidates. If she were to lose her temper and start cursing like a sailor, that would further alienate her. Couple that with her pro-Iraq war vote that has soured some members of her base, and she could have serious problems.

Obama's major shortcoming is that, from a national perspective, he is a political lightweight. He has not even had one full term as senator. There are folks who will not vote for him because he is black, but they are just as likely to be democrat as republican, so I do not hold much stock in that.

If I had to chose one over the other, I think Hillary would be easier, mostly because there is a much longer public service record that could be mined for negative information; votes that are contradictory, positions that are opposed by this group or that group, etc.

Obama does not have enough EXPERIENCE and the SOURCES to withstand the Republican attacks. Hillary dealt with this for a big chunk of her life and she is not even gonna blink once the Repugs starts throwing everything they have at her during the general election.

Either has weakness and can be defeated.... At this point it would be a tough call.. the real down and dirty politics has only just started.. it may end up that Edwards raised to the top after those two destroy one another.

Obama, not because his dad is black, but because he has no experience. He was a Senator for like a month before he decided to run. I think Obama has a good chance of being president one day, just not now. Probably 2016

Clinton. She has a 50% negative. Obama makes liberals and other uneducated and emotionally driven people feel better. This can be dangerous because anyone who would vote for him does not have a clue as to what he would do.

Think Jimmy Carter all over again.
