I would like to vote for a presidential candidate who would appoint "Strict Constructionist" judges to the Supreme Court, as would Fred Thompson. But I can not vote for Hillary because I think she disrespects the presidency. No one who disrespects the presidency is worthy of the position of president.
I once voted for a woman to be present of the United States, so I am not against Hillary because she is a woman. I do not like her ideas. And it is very scary to me to think that other Americans would think of voting for her. (Granted I think the Clintons are wonderful people personally, but I take issue with Hillary's expressions)
So I have to vote for Barak Obama.
I am not voting for the best qualified. Though Obama is certainly in most respects the best qualified (bearing in mind I have to place more emphasis on certain underrepresented particular issues).
I am voting to prevent the worst case scenario.
Voting is a personality contest. And some personaities I like, like Obama's, and other personalities raise a red flag in my view.

Republicans don't have good legitimate attacking points against Obama. No Republican can attack Obama on special interest without exposing their own, and their special interest money far exceeds the little Obama received as a Illinois state senator and IL Senator.
Senator Clinton not only flip-flopped on the Driver's license issue she lied on TV. I have that debate on TiVo, and you can see the reactions of the other candidates (i.e. Dodd, Biden, and Edwards). They were laughing and shaking their heads at her as if to say 'why are you lying?'. Obama stated he did support NY Governor's proposal on driver's licenses because it was a matter of public safety. Obama has been clear on many positions as opposed to Hillary. But the Republicans don't have many issues to discuss favorably. They can't hype the threat of Iran in the short-term. Iraq is a mess and the economy is heading for a recession which started happening under the Republican Congress. However, the Republican party machine's main national issue gun is illegal immigration in which Obama's response may hurt him a little.

The vacation stuff is a media issue. The press needs something to sell papers. You ( and all ) need to stay focused on policies and programs. Think all the debt and proposed entitlement programs are no big deal? If so, please take the time to see what's unfolding all over Europe. Most of those nations have had socialist programs for quite some time. Now those governments are starting to fail. If you read history you will see this has always been the result of governments that try to do everything for its citizens. There simply isn't enough money, over time, to sustain entitlements as a way of life. If you need more, just look at folks who are on welfare ( entitlement ). How happy are they? What level of existence do they experience? How often do they escape welfare and create a good life for them self? We , the people, need to create at own lives and take total responsibility for our personal decisions, NOT the government.

They'll portray him as part and parcel of the corrupt Chicago political machine (which he is -- despite his claims of clean politics, he's about as clean as my dirty laundry!) and they'll play up the Resko connection (corrupt influence peddler whose bribes, once exposed, has sent several Illinois politicos to jail already), and they'll charge him with being "fuzzy on the issues" because all his talk of hope, new direction, etc is all just empty rhetoric. He doesn't really say a damned thing about what he'd really do. He's missed 80% of the votes this year, so he can avoid taking a position on ANYTHING so as not to offend ANYONE. The Republicans will chew him up and spit him out. Of course all this hinges on "if he does get the nomination", which he won't. While white liberal Democrats will let blacks sit in the front of the bus, they're not about to let 'em drive!

Obama made up his answer up on the spot if you seen him answer that question when he was asked tit. Obama has 0 ZERO. Experience with managing anything and Foreign Diplomacy. !st he is a Senator. He votes Ya or NA. That's it! Governors Manage a State. And Obama has no experience in dealing with Foreign issues. He will get stepped on by Russia's Putin. Putin Will eat him up and spit him out. Putin is one bad ex KGB mutha! And China will just slap him around, and laugh him off because that is how their culture is. They respect people with experience. Something Obama does not have so they won't respect him (behind closed doors that it). And the Iran, N. Korea & Venzuela will test him to no end jeopardizing America.

We hae much better issues to kill him on like his ridiculous vote to prevent illinois from keeping a loophole in the abortion laws from being used by parents to murder babies. Because the way illinois law worked a infant was a fetus if the umbilical cord is still connected. Obama sucked up to the pro-choice lobbies rather then sense

No matter who the Republicans pit against Obama, he will come out on top. In doing so, he will win in the general election. Refreshing.

They can show that Oprah is pulling the strings on her puppet Obama. They can then show that Oprah has been involved with championing other people who in turn praise convicted Nazi war criminals and convicted terrorists. It is the secret that Oprah dreads to be exposed.
