Do you think discrimination against white woman and people of color would end?

I mean, here's a guy who turned New York City into a police state. He imprisoned an innocent businessman for no reason as an attorney under Reagan. He failed miserably to provide the firefighters with adequate equipment on 9/11. His police chief was a total crook. He had the police incite riots and other crime so that he could get elected to clean up crime.

And then, to top it off, he has absolutely no knowledge of foreign policy and thinks that the terrorists hate us because of our freedom and believes in the absurd "Islamo-Fascism" conspiracy theory.

Has anybody ever seen a presidential candidate who is more unqualified to be president than this idiot? At the very least, Bush ran on a "more humble" foreign policy in 2000. I can't think of anybody who polled this high who ever dared to run on outright fascism before. Is there any chance that the American people will permit this fascist to take over the White House?

It is documented that Edwards came up from struggling working class parents and got his $$ suing big companies on behalf of regular folks. Isn't this what all of us aspire to do- The American Dream? The truth is that they are all rich people (congress, candidates) but he seems to be bringing up issues relevant to working people. Isn't he a totally Horatio Algier kinda guy? Isn't this a guy Dems and Repubs could relate to? Whats up with the press dissmissals and character assassinations (based on dubious stuff).

In my own town, on 9/11 there were people who actually praised the attack!! A doctor said he is glad America was attacked and that we got what we deserved. At a local college, student watched the news and had a party. My question is, do you think that people like that, who obviously are against Americans, should be allowed to stay here??I think we should get them out of here;one would think they pose a threat to the safety of Americans. But they are still here, does this not make sense. And yes, we have freedom of speech, but there are stipualtions to that...hopefully I dont have to expound on that matter. If they think America, is so bad, why dont they just leave??

In the movie "Man of the Year" Robin said:

"Politicians are like diapers and should be changed frequently".

Think about the rising gase prices , then ask yourself who (democratic or republicans) has done anything to keep gas prices from rising the way they have.

Would replacing everyone (senators, representatives, and president) next election put the fire under the seats of our politicians?

I live in Illinois and I voted Democrat in the last Primaries. This time, I want to vote Republican. Do I need to officially register as a Republican to be able to vote that way in the Primaries, or do I just tell them when I go to vote?

What attracts people to candidates who believe that "GOVERNMENT IS BEST which governs MOST?"

On the other hand, there is RON PAUL, a man whose thinking is guided by the Principles of the Founding Fathers.

In the Town of Babylon, when voting for District Court Judge, the voting ballot stating vote for 2, there were only 2 candidates running. The political parties, Democrats, Republicans, Independents, Working Families, all put the same person on the ballot. Therefore, as residents of the Town of Babylon in Suffolk County we do not have the right to vote for different people. Only two (2) people ran, and the ballot said vote for 2. Is anyone concerned? Why isn't the news picking up this story? Is this the end of our democratic society in Suffolk County? Aren't we in effect letting the few (the political parties) chose the one that holds an important and influential political office?

So after informing the public in the 90's that she was not so much a house-wife, then recently stating that she's very comfortable in "the kitchen" (running in the campaign), Hillary Clinton has reversed her stand on giving illegal immagrants liscense, and now stands AGAINST it. Hillary Clinton, the liar, the one who will swtich her stands just because it is a popular beliefe at the time. Wake up America and realise we need to stop electing these stupid LIARS!!!

Before bashing unions, ask yourself why do they exist?

I believe that in the past they have used extreme measures, but they up against a powerful and ruthless business community (not all).

Did anyone see the Liberls in Tasmania to make sure the miners got out safely...no! It was the unions!

How many workers died and didn't go home to their children while making the Harbour Bridge! Unions protect us from having to work in those conditions.

The Howard government argue against Unions for every pay rise you get! The Liberls go once a year (usually September) to the Industrial Relations Commission and argue why you shouldn't get one, the Commissioner weighs up both sides and makes a decision! This is despite the rising interest rates and rising cost of living!

Why WORKCHOICES?....Its easy and goes back to the old saying "United we stand.....divided we fall"

Howard is trying to divide workers so they have NO power against Employers! Its makes the boss rich and you poorer!

AUSTRALIAN pay packets swelled almost 5 per cent in the year to August, with the average wage now $57,324

SO..... that;s the average .. without tell you how much I earn .. I can tell you I am WAY WAY WAY below .. AND then you have people who are WAY WAY WAY below what I earn ...

and John Howard and Peter Costello expect those below the average NOT to struggle with the increases in the cost of Petrol and gas, fresh food and interests rates .....

THEY HAVE NO IDEA .. and yet they expect us to vote them back in ?

what say you ??

A report just released has discovered how corrupt the Howard is/was during the 2004 election. They quickly passed projects in Liberal seats and rejected them in Labor seats to manipulate the swinging voters!
Some of these projects were only in the planning stage but rushed through just before the last election.

I only have some details on it but will update this question as I get more of the report!!!

The longer this government stays in power the more it makes me sick. This government has tried to become a dictatorship by blocking out the alternative government. Anyone that believes Iraq is good because it promotes democracy is being screwed by their own government. You cannot be pro-democracy and vote Liberal. This is not my opinion but the facts, and they are comming out for you to see.

The saddest part is that there will be people that believe this is ok, and justify it to make themselves feel ok about it. This is ususally because they are so in bed with one party!!

I say because he had so much that today would be considered against him --
-He was military (General)
-He had been a Jehovah's Witness (Don't knock on ~my~ door)
-He was Republican (Oh my god ~gasp~)

But does anyone remember his "Cross of Iron" speach? I have exerpts from that printed and pasted in my cube at work and I am here to tell you, it's spiritural when I see people read that and reflect on it.

Would you vote for him if he'd run today? Even if he doesn't have as much $$$ as Hillary in his campaign warchest?

Google search "Eisenhower Cross of Iron Speech" to see what I mean. It's a brilliant play on words against the "Cross of Gold" thingy....

Would you vote for him today? Given his "negatives"? What if it were Dominici? Or Romney? Or Cain? Or ....(Fill in the blank...)
