Elections - November 2007

I heard a lot of redirection, off-topic responses, and mud-slinging (as is typical - regardless of party), but very few relevant answers.

Are Americans intelligent enough to recognize when a question is being answered and when it's not? Or do buzzwords, rhetoric, and emotional button-pushing throw us off?

I hear a lot of Conservatives yapping about it, so why don't they yell at Bush?

I have a research project for school and I was required to gather opinions about what would be the best type of electoral system that would bring stability to a heavely fragmented society. why would you think your choice is best and not the oposite?

Before ya anti Paul boys jump my buns & call me a Ron Paul conspiracy loony, I am NOT saying this raid was targeting representative Paul's fund raising. It is MIGHTY strange tho that TWO TONS of Ron Paul coinage was confiscated at this CRUCIAL time of fund raising for the presidential candidates. Part of the sale price of the Ron Paul coins was marked to be sent to the Ron Paul campaign. A side from this coin issue involving Liberty Dollars, I have realized that the other candidates & their cronies have been hunched over in pain like a dog sheetin razor blades regarding representative Paul's incredible popularity & campaign financing. I do realize that Liberty Dollars has been in dispute with the feds for a while now, BUT again, THE TIMING of this raid seems to be in poor taste. Imagine if those confiscated coins had been senator Hillary Clinton coins!!! H. Clinton would have been screaming bloody murder! Ironic this raid is boys, ironic it is!

Is it possible that Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama will have an equal number of supporters for the 2008 election, so a Republican would get into office?

Like- if it comes down to ONE major republican candidate, and TWO major democrats for the final ballot??

How does that work exactly??

I see questions all of the time on this forum like "George Bush is stupid, right?" and "Is George Bush an idiot?" But my question "Is Hillary evil?" was deleted. Again, the double standard of the left. It is only legal to criticize and insult conservatives. That is free speech, but criticism of the left causes outrage (and my darn question getting deleted)

When the negative ads begin I just don't think she will survive as they will use the Clinton era for all the ammo they need to win. I didn't appreciate having to explain to my kids what a ******** is and why the president was getting one in his office. There is just to much dirt there for anyone to overcome.

I don't care if you say Republican or Democrat. I'd just like to know who you feel would be the best option and you would trust do a good job once 2008 comes around! Also please give me a reason why! (Doesn't have to be very long!)

Just interested in other people's opinions!

Did notice that Biden understoodthe right to privacy, but Hillary seemsed to stumble on that as she said it is very important, but she got all those senators private files from the FBI. they also jumped on Obama and the lawyer made some go points.

If they make the folks that make $500,000 plus pay the same as us poor smucks, wouldn't it make them poorer? Would they be able to pay the CPAs and attroneys that put them in the bogus and highly illegal tax schemes like LPs and yes I know the IRS never checks that stuff and relies on the 'honor' system. For attorneys and cpas?.

Planted questioniers in the audience, typical of CNN and the dems, and B.S. answers while hedging with "thank you for serving our country".

A mother and son (who wears a hat and claims to have fought in Iraq) want to complain about going to war??? That's what he VOLUNTEERED to do.

Do these people actually think we are buying this fraud?

I don't know about you guys, but it seems as though the media is assuming that Hillary Clinton or another democrat is going to become the next president. They have given almost no time to anyone else; it's Hillary this, Hillary that, over and over again. What about the rest of the candidates? Rarely do I hear them talk about a Republican candidate and definitely not an Independent candidate. What's worse is that people are going to vote in a Democrat because that is all they are hearing about. To complicate matters, people are going to vote for a Democrat not because they think a Democrat is the best candidate, but because George Bush is a Republican, so they assume all Republicans will run the country like Mr. Bush. For those of you who are actually educated on the issues and decide that a Democratic candidate is the best, then by all means vote for one. But don't do it because of the media or because of President Bush.
