If they make the folks that make $500,000 plus pay the same as us poor smucks, wouldn't it make them poorer? Would they be able to pay the CPAs and attroneys that put them in the bogus and highly illegal tax schemes like LPs and yes I know the IRS never checks that stuff and relies on the 'honor' system. For attorneys and cpas?.

So then you are agreeing with the question, but that doesn't answer it, why raise their taxes?

The idea seems to be to convince us poor stupid farm boyz that if we elect them their democrats to office they will punish those rich folks for being rich and we won't have to pay in as much tax.,,,,,If you believe that, I got a island out in the middle of the Atlantic ocean that I will sell ya real cheap.

LOL; Just the opposite. it’s the rich that pay most of the taxes in America. The top 25 % pay more than their share of taxes being 84.6 % of all the taxes combined. The bottom 50 percent pay only 5 % of the total taxes, so if you want the rich to pay the same as the poor smucks they would be even richer.

If the government confiscated all the wealth of the riches 2% one hundred% tax and one hundred% tax on all sources, it nonetheless does no longer conceal the government criminal accountability. Socialism in easy terms works till you run out of different peoples money. we are there. No money left. Its time to do away with the socialist and initiate up cutting the government.

The dirty little secret is they DON'T want to raise taxes on the rich people. The rich people already have their money. They dont get taxed any more.
They want to raise taxes on people who work hard and are becoming rich. because they want to prevent the poor from moving up. You see the Democrats are already rich. They don't need to pay taxes on what they already have. and money is power. So if they can keep the wealth of the nation in their hands, then they keep the power.
But if people work their butts off and create wealth on their own and get wealth, they can challenge the power the Democrats have. So they tax the people that create wealth successfully to drive down incentive and to keep them from getting too powerful.
They arent hurting the rich. They are living quite comfortably.

Get a clue people. The rich already pay far more than their share of taxes, Some statistics released by the IRS: The top 1 percent of taxpayers, ranked by adjusted gross income, pay 34.3 percent of all federal income taxes. The top 5 percent in income pay 54.4 percent, the top 10 percent pay 65.8 percent, and the top 25 percent pay 83.9 percent. So how exactly are the "rich" getting away without paying taxes?

Democrats want to raise taxes on everyone....they just want to tax the rich people first and then redefine what "rich" is so that eventually everyone will pay the tax

They have it, let them f***ing pay it, why keep taking from people that are just barely getting by as it is, they will find a way to cheat the IRS out of whatever is imposed.
