I mean, here's a guy who turned New York City into a police state. He imprisoned an innocent businessman for no reason as an attorney under Reagan. He failed miserably to provide the firefighters with adequate equipment on 9/11. His police chief was a total crook. He had the police incite riots and other crime so that he could get elected to clean up crime.

And then, to top it off, he has absolutely no knowledge of foreign policy and thinks that the terrorists hate us because of our freedom and believes in the absurd "Islamo-Fascism" conspiracy theory.

Has anybody ever seen a presidential candidate who is more unqualified to be president than this idiot? At the very least, Bush ran on a "more humble" foreign policy in 2000. I can't think of anybody who polled this high who ever dared to run on outright fascism before. Is there any chance that the American people will permit this fascist to take over the White House?

Unfortunately everyone has still got a long way to go to beat Bush. Giuliani's biggest flaws are his pigheadedness and his out of control ego

I know Rudy thinks that terror is a reality, that Muslims cause it, that he cleaned up NY City and prevented the noble homeless from defecating on the sidewalks. You should look up he definition of fascism though, it doesn't apply to Rudy. But all that being said, as far as the worst presidential candidates he doesn't even make to top 5, leaving out those that didn't get through the primaries and in no particular order, lets go with Dukaukis, Mondale, Dole, Kerry, and the only one to win Carter.

"I mean, here's a guy who turned New York City into a police state."

Examples? I live near NY, it was a garbage dump before he was mayor. He really cleaned it up, especially Times Square.

"He imprisoned an innocent businessman for no reason as an attorney under Reagan."

Attorneys do not have the power to put people in prison, only the judge can levy that sentence, or the police can put you in there.

"He failed miserably to provide the firefighters with adequate equipment on 9/11."

Not his job, the fire department puts in a budget request and he can approve or deny it. It is the fire department's job to keep itself in a state of readiness, and regardless of how prepared they were nothing would have prepared them for 9/11.

I'm guessing you don't live near NY, nor have you ever been, so you wouldn't know. Just stick to your talking points, it's probably easier for you than looking at examples and coming to a reasoned conclusion.

I'm totally with you on this one...not to mention...he was like a...mayor..thats like letting jerry springer run for president...although even jerry springer has more wits about him. And the other thing that gets me is that religious people are trying to back him when he has illegitimate kids and has had like 3 wives...
don't worry about it though because hillary has already won...she's got more brains than every other presidential prospect combined thankfully.
oh and by the way aren't also sick of everybody throwing that liberal word around for anybody who doesn't side with their gun toting, war mongering, facist and lame uneducated and unexcepting a**.
yeh we're liberals..ouch you really hurt me with that
least we got a f*cking brain and a sense of reality.
I think we should draft everybody with a republican voter registration...maybe they'd finally start singing a different tune instead of being the cowardly, chicken hawks they are...like that dennis miller and bill o reilly idiot..sign em up they aren't too old anymore...military now accepts 18 to 80 blind crippled and crazy.

Clearly America is in trouble, if real Americans think Rudy can be trusted with our country. 9/11 happened under Rudy in New York, he even wanted to declare himself mayor after his term, because of 9/11. Wake up people!

You're entitled to make your point and state your case against Giuliani, but who would you reccommend for POTUS?

I have to go with GWB or Alan Keyes as the worst I have ever seen. Bush had multiple failed businesses, and really nothing but his name.

don't forget... against ALL advice he put his city's central control inside the WTC, which is why when the WTC got attacked the police and fire radios did not work... because central control was evacuated!
