She is leading in the Democratic race for the nomination. The problem with Hillary is that if she gets the nomination the Democrats are almost certain to get no Republican swing votes and very few Independants. In fact, a large number of Democrats would vote for an Independent candidate then her. Hillary has too many past scandals and skeletons in the closet to be electable. She can win the Democratic race, but not the presidency.

I'm an independent that hasn't voted Republican since Bush/Dukais in 88. But I will not vote for Hillary.

She's got good strategists working for her, to tell her what positions she should take. Sometimes these positions seem to change, but often, people don't catch that. I found it interesting, that she was THIRD on my "compatibility" list from taking this quiz. Which means she seems able to appeal in some way to almost anyone that doesn't do any research.

Fred Thompson was 2nd, and Ron Paul or Tom Tancredo was first depending on the sliders (you will see at the end, especially if you emphasize the importance of immigration - which actually should be worded illegal immigration).

EDIT: Thanks for the thumbs down Elway. No, all I'm saying is, she has had many positions in the past that are 180 from what they are now, or portrayed in the media. I did the research. Most DO NOT - that's why "people" like her - which is the issue at stake, apathetic voters.

A lot of people just quietly support her and let the neo-cons and Republicans rant. Ranters on Y/A are in no way indicative of how this election is going.
And by the way, I love how that guy up there is talking about the skeletons in her closet. Perhaps he hasn't watched the news today. No candidate could hold a candle to Guiliani.

Funny contradiction isn't it? It's necessary to dispense of the conservative spin that she's unelectable in order to see the truth. Apparently there are tens of millions of Americans capable of doing just that. They are called her supporters. Good question by the way.

EDIT: I get such a kick out of the Hillary Haters. They don't like her so the polls are fixed of course. If their favorite candidate was at the top they'd be falling all over those polls. Very funny.

Well cuz 1st and formost the republican party wants her to win because they feel that is their only chance to beat a democrat.. They keep her name on top and on the news.. If you want to call FOX News news...I call it tainted views. Second she is getting the female vote who are just voting on gender not merits. third she has the clinton name.. and forth she changes her stand with every new forum and every new vote... Perfect position to be in but wrong person.

Yeah, I always find those questions strange, too. I think most people travel in pretty small, homogeneous groups. Like the pot smokers who say "everyone smokes" because everyone they hang out with does, Republicans say "nobody will vote for Hillary," because they don't know anyone who will. Seems like an argument for expanding our circle of acquaintances.

I think it is an invention of the media to say she is leading, so people will THINK she is.
Everyone I know hates her guts, even raving feminist liberals, like me.
The only way I would ever vote for her is if she had Clark as a running mate and divorced her rapist/husband/co-president.

Because the corporate mass distraction machine (the media) says she is. But Kucinich got more applause at the debates last night.

She is so called leading, because the press is Liberal and she represents them. They can write what they want, hoping to change peoples minds by what they see in the paper. But when the rubber meets the road, the majority will speak and she won't make it. So why is anyone surprised that she appears to be leading. Isn't that what happened with Kerry?

Her last name. The Clinton's have big media connections. That's why any scandal has refused to stick to them.

Including the current ties to Chinese military fundraisers, and other illegal activities including meeting with foreign leaders without approval of congress.
