Seems like a horrible role model...but then again, the Democrats did elect Clinton, twice, and he did like his cigars, didn't he.

Some folks don't like Hillary Clinton because she puts up with a husband who cheats. You would really be surprised at the amount of women who stay with husbands who cheat they all have reasons that are their own
That does not make them a bad person. I don't know if the democrats will fail to live up to your expectations but I'M sure they will try to run things the best they can. Remember they don't have a man in the white house. The congress and senate had a more peaceable man in Clinton then this congress and senate have with Bush He is use to doing just what he pleased when he had a congress and senate with the majority republicans. Hillary is our last great hope and don't listen to the damn naysayers.

Mr. Primus ran for office in the NYS Governor Race 2006 as the National-Union Candidate. The results aren't finalize, Primus could have won 2,315,549 votes. Mr. Primus chose Princeton, an educator, as his vice-president candidate because Princeton is a major in economics and foreign affairs.
The National Union Party's convention will be on December 10. The National Union's leadership will be the Populist instead of the leftist or the rightist.
By voting National-Union, citizens' concerns can be heard above bipartisan distraction and special interests. Our political party system is proportional representation because it's by popular voting candidates are chosen besides good ideas. The National-Union has the ability to win because we can secure close-races and provide unification.

In most democracies of the world it's not all black or white two sides and two parties because when they vote they get to vote their first choice, second choice, third choice and on so that if your first choice is eliminated your second choice then comes into play. Make your vote count! This way you never waste a vote when voting for minor parties that speak for your real positions. We can finally get out from under the "damned if you do damned if you don't" schizophrehnic two party system. Let's do it!!!
The best way is to start at county level with Instant Run Off Voting (IRV) and then we get used to real democracy. IRV saves county elections a lot of money (no run off eelections needed) and we know who people really want.
Then we go to city councils and vote preference voting and that way each group has a seat at the table. Diversity makes democracy work. Start up you enigines and get those petitions out in your county now.
Eventually we proportionalize the state level.

Considering that the individual would have such vast powers, shouldn't a psycological evaluation be conducted for the sake of our National Security?

I know that this would be against their constitutional rights but hey didn't GWB do the same in spying on us and wire tapping our homes? My point here is what if the president-elect is psychologically depressed without knowing it and has suicidal tendencies? such a state of mind can make a person think irrationally.

I don't see a candidate from either party or from any of the U.S.A grassroot groups that I would vote for.
I am not ready for a female president.
I am, so, not willing to have someone equal to or lessor intelligent as the last branding iron white house vacancy filler.
I want some fresh intellects who show progressive working ideas for the U.S.A. before we smother our country in coal burning Electricity providing plants. Then have to compete with Europe to reduce our Smog and Air ratios.

Anybody know anyone who is good Presidential material that is hanging in the background because of the way things have become the person feels it doesn't provide the person much of a chance?

The National-Union is a newly formed third party, the populist party.
With e-voting for absentee ballots, the National-Union is more representative than any other political party in history. The National-Union has a 5-party system that appeals to the various issues that are most important to citizens. Each minor party has resolutions to foreign and domestic policies. It's an old wise tell that voting for the third party is a waste of time and effort because your vote might secured your freedoms!
The National-Union is already prepared for the White House in 2008 with its candidates, PRIMUS & PRINCETON

Imagine that tommorow you are going to vote in the 2008 presidential election (no matter what age). What do you think is the most important issue that will effect your vote? Which party will you vote with (Democrat, Republican, or Independant)? Who do you want to be a candidate? (a candidate in the final running, that is, not a preliminary run)

You know that party has fought tooth and nail against every social program proposed: Social Security, the WPA that ended the depression, Medicare, a rise in the minimum wage, gay marriage, and on and on. Where on earth would the aging population be without Social Security or Medicare?? One-third of this country was unemployed in the depression, yet the Republican party fought Roosevelt over the WPA (putting unemployed people in make-work jobs).

I read once that the Republicans have done a magical thing: They have convinced working class people to vote against themselves. Apparently they have also convinced gay people and people of color that they really do hold the same values, they are just hidden somewhere. Perhaps they will spring out one day.

Do a little reading, please. Study a little history. Turn off the television. Research into which party shares your values. If you think of yourself as a present or future millionaire, perhaps the Republican party is for you.
