certainly people will vote for her, being swayed by admiration for her rise to power. However, the greatest single mistake in our Iraq policy (though there have been hundreds of others) was her decision to disband the Iraqi army and exclude the Baathists. the other repubs are already beginning to throw her under a bus for that one (they sacrifice their weakest, you know). she has zero charisma, and shopping for shoes while people were drowning in New Orleans didn't help either.

i imagine she is a very articult female. She is amazingly knowledgeable and makes a good representative of the U. S.. Sorry yet i do not see her as president. i'm not a democrat yet i'd vote for Hillary Clinton beforehand i'd Condoleezza Rice. I wasn't inspired with the way she dealt with a congressional panel on Iraq a lengthy time period decrease back. She would not seem as if an excellent sufficient of a liar to be president. basically my take on the question.

While it's impossible to determine whether she would win office, I'm 100% sure that someone would vote for her. In my opinion, she's done the best within her power to handle the diplomatic timebomb that is our present situation. I admire her, and I think she is afine example of an African American and a woman. I know that politics is something that people will never agree on... but I honestly think that there are a good amount of other people in the world who agree with me when I say that she would make an exceptional president. Now, I doubt she would win it
A. Because America as a whole is simply not ready to accept a woman president. I doubt very seriously that it is going to happen within the next 12 years, but if it does I will be delighted.
B. People are still somewhat racist, and it's a really sad fact. I see on a blind basis... I have no problem with African Americans holding positions in office. Colin Powell was amazing while he was in cabinet, and I believe that Condoleeza Rice is one of the invaluable members of the present Bush administration.
I do hope I haven't bored you too much... my short answer is, Yes!

Sure, a lot of folks would.
Haven't you heard of "white guilt"?
A lot of white people would vote for her just because they are, oh so anxious, to prove they aren't racially prejudiced.
I would never vote for her because when President Bush wanted to end Affirmative Action programs, Condoleeza Rice and Colin Powell were the ones who persuaded him not to.
Condoleeza Rice wants to continue the preferential treatment for black people.
Colin Powell is even worse - - - not only does he want to continue preferential treatment for black people, but he also has stated that he favors police being able to enter and search homes without a warrant, in order to seize privately owned firearms.

If you think that in American politics, you need money, consider that Condi has never proven in her life that she can raise it.
She'll have to do the blocking and tackling of American politics which is to talk to thousands of people, say the same thing over and over, shake hands, meet in small venues (houses, moose clubs, high schools), etc, etc, etc.
So, unless she can do that, no one "could" vote for Condi because she won't be on the ballot.

How can anybody think of her as a president?
She's not even qualified for her job as a secretary of state! what did she do other than being a friend to the republican establishment?
Can anybody tell me what's her qualification
to be elected to the highest office in the land ?
I'll be very happy to hear it.

I think she is in over her head and cannot handle her present job much less be President. To answer your question, she would get votes but not mine.
