Seems like a horrible role model...but then again, the Democrats did elect Clinton, twice, and he did like his cigars, didn't he.

Well, I didn't know Obama smokes, but I could definitley see something like that hurting his chances. It doesn't affect what I think of him, but it will affect lots of people...thats something whomever is running against him will use as a weapon. Damn, I hope he quits, though. But Bush did coke, went AWOL, pissed the entire world off almost, and STILL got elected, then re-elected, so anything is possible. I think the primary reason he got re-elected is because John Kerry wasn't about anything, and look who Obama might be running against. Hilary Clinton? Come onnnnn....

Hey, I like OBAMA!!! He rules. I just like knowing that the guy I send to run our country is able to answer a question intelligently. He is the Black equivalent of Abe Lincoln. Without the goatee, depression, slavery and a civil war. Anyway he rules and he most likely will get my Primary vote over Hilary if he doesn't join her before the primary. Good luck dude. If you get elected is there anything you can do to help with getting us out of IRAQ, get my student loans forgiven and maybe pave my road.

Ted Kennedy drank; John Kennedy had an "alleged" affair; Bill had Monica and Jimmy Carter had his brother, Billy. No, it does not impact his political career. It's a stupid mistake and he should try to quit.

In that case, Obama is doomed!!! The Republicans would go nuts showing pictures of him lighting up. So much for his chances. Of course Bush smokes too, but what he smokes he smokes out behind the barn and rolls it himself - if you know what I mean!

I'd definitely vote for him over Hilary or McCain.. He smokes, so what, that doesn't make him any less competent. I mean we elected bush (and he did illegal drugs, had DUI and so on).

He smokes? Smokes what? And lastly, as long as he is smoking something that is legal why should it matter that he smokes? SOOOOO WHAT! I don't think that his smoking tabacco will affect his political career.

Osama Hussein Obama smokes? Well that is not very enlightened behavior! The liberals will disown him and those candy dishes on the sides of his head soon!
