That's a very interesting, although radical idea. Perhaps if that policy had been in effect six years ago, the 3000 of our young people who, so far, have been slaughtered in Iraq would still be alive, and there might still be some other countries in the world who still have a little respect for us. Almost certainly that idiot who lives at 1600 Pennsylvania Ave. in Washington would be back at the ranch in Texas watching Barney cartoons.

Well if we're following that line of thought maybe all white people should be slaves for the next four hundred years, society recognizes it's mistakes and corrects them, we should all just keep moving forward it's called being PROGRESSIVE

Great. Instead of righting all inequality, let's invent another one!
Besides, the British had Margret Thatcher and you guys have Condi. I don't see the milk of human kindness flowing from either of them...

One can not make up for past mistakes by sinking to the same level and repeating them in a new way.

Only if men are allowed to stay home and be the homemaker for that same period of time, while women are the "breadwinners." Cuz that's the way it was back then...
And then, men will stage elaborate rights movements, burn underwear in public, and demand legal abortions for themselves.

I know why you would say that but it would be like acting like they did and making the same mistake. Sometimes we need to use compassion. You will of course be rewarded.

That's what we call hypocrisy. Now that both men and women can vote, let's keep it that way.
