How hilarious. Does the name William "Freezer" Jefferson strike a bell, Ms. Pelosi?

Not to mention a fact that our one party media will never mention: that numerous Democrats took much more money from Abramoff than the worst Republicans did. Including even the Democrat's Senate Minority Leader, "Honest" Harry Reid.

But of course no Democrat ever resigns, no matter how perfidious their behavior. "Honest" Harry Reid refuses to even give the Abramoff money back.

That is just one of the many benefits the DNC enjoy from controlling the media and indeed the rest of the establishment.

They face no accountability. Ever.

Here you have it from their own lips:

Greater Defeat Than Vietnam"

A report in the online publication World Net Daily says some leaders of terrorist organizations are openly encouraging Americans to vote for Democrats… in order to hasten a U.S. troop withdrawal from Iraq.

Jihad Jaara — a senior member of the Palestinian Al Aqsa Martyrs Brigade — says "of course Americans should vote Democrat." He went on to say a withdrawal from Iraq would mark the beginning of the collapse of what he called the U.S. "tyrant empire" — and would deal the US "a greater defeat than Vietnam."

Abu Ayman — a leader of Islamic jihad in Jenin — tells World Net Daily he is "emboldened" by Americans who compare Iraq to Vietnam. And the senior leader of that Palestinian group — says Democratic predictions that a withdrawal would end the insurgency are incorrect — and that a pullout would "prove the resistance is the most important tool — and that this tool works."

McCaskill has always supported the horrible procedure of partial birth abortion, but has flip-flopped only days before the election and now says she's against it.

She has always been against gun owners' constitutional rights, is rated "F" by the NRA, and tells the inner city voters that she wants more gun control than the 30,000 firearms laws in the nation today. But she also tries to tell hunters and others in largely rural Missouri that she supports their rights to firearms.

I'm a Christian but not an evangelical. I believe what I am taught by the Holy Spirit and know that no one is perfect and what anyone else does or does not do will not influence my beliefs. To base a vote on a fallen person would be to deny my own beliefs and convictions and worse yet, I would be looking to a person or institution rather than God.

What do you think?

I live in Virginia and we use touchscreen Diebold voting machines. I saw an HBO documentary on how easy it is to hack those machines to get a false result that is not easily detected....its all in the memory card which is rigged off-sight and you can hack the results without even needing the password. This to me is not about political parties....this is an outrage to what we supposedly are - a democracy. Are we a democracy anymore? Do you think we should go back to paper ballots? I'm voting on Tuesday but I'm not sure at all that it will matter.

computer programmer Clinton Eugene Curtis testified under oath in front of the U.S. House Judiciary Members in Ohio.

He tells the members how he was hired by Congressman Tom Feeney in 2000 to build a prototype software package that would secretly rig an election to sway the result 51 / 49 to a specified side.

Everytime the parties are described it is always "the rich and powerful Reupblicans" and "The Democrats"? I am a Republican, middle class working woman, from the South.Without exception, my friends are all middle class working Americans who vote Republican. The Democrats that are "trying" to make life better for us all are people who are beyond wealthy! John Kerry, who is married to the widow of the Heinz billionaire, Barbara Streisand, Oprah, The Clintons. Ted Kennedy the list goes on. These people are all beyond wealthy. Sure they want to "make" the world better for the "little" guy, but they want to use the little guy's money to do it!!! Seems to be two types of Dems. The ones who have money but don't want to use their money they want to use ours, and the kind that want to take the money i.e. through govt. programs etc. Remember there are middle class in both parties.

How is it that I keep getting calls from politicians running for office when I am registered on the federal no call list? Doesn't it make them a criminal to call people on the federal no call list?

this is my very first time voting and i'm glad to be part of it. But, I still don't understand everything, yet. I have a mix of republics and democrats on my list of people i want to vote for. I was told that I could only vote for one side. I don't agree with everything on just one side. Is there a way I can vote for the people I want to see make it? Remember this is my first time at voting so, all this is new to me. I have done my homework on the issues and where these people stand. How does voting work? Do we all get the same list and we can vote for who we want or do you tell "them" what side we are on and they give us that sides list?
I hope I haven't confused anyone. I just don't understand what to do, yet. Plus, I'm not for sure if I'm republican or democrat since, my list is an, almost, equal split of both sides.
What am I suppose to say when they ask me what side I am on?

Unfortunately, it's already easy to make a bomb:

The hard part is getting the uranium. Guess these students didn't have tickets to Niger!

The government shouldn't have posted the plans. But the information is out there.

The REAL story is that the Times is now on record as saying Saddam was a big danger. There is NO WAY on Earth to argue that these plans are a danger but that Saddam (who had them and was working to implement them) was NOT a danger.

What's your explanation?

this would be a party that:

a) stands for civil liberties - free speech, free press, right to assemble, in essence everything in the bill of rights except the outdated absolute of the right to bear arms (guns ok with restrictions and licensing). we don't care if you're gay, straight or chartreuse - whatever you do in your bedroom is your business, as long as it doesn't affect us.

b) campaign finance reform - drastic. the publicly owned airwaves (and they are publicly owned) will be given over to x amount of time per campaign year per candidate for a live presentation. no paid commercials. no contribution, individual or corporate, over US$500. period. no loopholes! i mean none. fullstop.

c) fiscal responsibilty. no more corporate welfare. the rich pay their share. the middle class gets a break, the poor get a leg up when necessary.

d) responsible, pragmatic foreign policy. anything but the bush-cheney model.

e) generous funding of public (not private) education
