Honestly, no "spin" will be needed.
In 2000, everyone predicted that Gore would win a sweeping victory and the Democrats would take back Congress. Instead, Bush won and we saw Republican victories in a number of normally-Democratic leaning states.
In the 2002 Midterms, everyone predicted that people would be fed up with Republicans and give Democrats both Houses just like when Republicans won the House in 1994 against a sitting Democratic President. Instead, it was the first time a Presidental party increased seats in a mid-term election since FDR.
In 2004, people were going with Kerry since "anti-GOP sentiment" was so high and that Demrats were going to take over everything in landslide elections in Congress. Instead Bush won a majority and Republicans again gained seats.
Now, in 2006, while district-by-district polls show a good chance that Republicans will maintain both Houses of Congress, if they don't, it won't need spin. After all, according to liberals and the media, Republicans have been living on "borrowed time" for 6 years now. If people vote in Democrats, that is just how they voted - no messages or mandates.

When the Republicans win both houses they will get on with the business of the Country. The better question is what will the Dems spin when they lose after being so arrogant and over confident. Win or lose, the Dems will continue to lie and spin. That is all they really know.

Unfortunately, it could be many weeks before we really know because they are finding so many irregularities in voting registration by the Dems. Dead people, false addresses, duplicate signatures. The list goes on. Honesty is not in the Democratic party heads vocabulary.

Probadly gonna end up with slipt house and senate most likely, and the republican spin would be democarts will cause your taxes to rise, and bin laden won the election. The far right republicans ones that annoy me with mixing god, and polticis and hypcriosy. Dont get me wrong, but liberals think the solution to soical, and economic problems is to spend money. the murkey middle get things workin a little better. Vote with your wallet even if the god talk is annoying as crap, and Iraq is a Total loss based on incomepent Bush on Iraq, but his economic team works well. Just fire the pentagon all of them pull out of Iraq, and keep on the money makers of wallstreet Bush economic team.

Isn't that kinda like putting the cart before the horse?
No one knows what will happen until Election Day votes
are counted. You can listen to news coverage, polls, etc.,
but unless you have a crystal ball, no one can predict
the outcome of the election on Tuesday.
By the by, this Republican is voting on Tuesday.

How is the financial disaster a kiss of dying for the McCain campaign? The final time I checked, the Democrats had a majority in Congress. The Democrats are the final public who voted for the bailout that all and sundry hates.

Probably something like this: "wow, all the polls were wrong! The Demon-rats were lucky not to loose more seats in the house, and only 4 in the senate! They are truly a national party now more!!"

As they have been astute at stealing elections, they will surely say the election was stolen from the stealers. But I wouldn't count your congressman and senators before they hatch. Remember "hanging chads" and the 2004 debacle in Ohio.

Well your question is mute since that isn't going to happen.... but IF it does they could use the fact that a hugo chaves supported Venezuelan company owns the company that makes the electronic voting machines.
