Yes, Yes, and Yes.
Did Pelosi serve in the military? Did Kerry slur the military?
Same-sex "marriange"? Is that a new thing from the Left that I don't know about?
"Can the liberals set a new low standard for government?" is the real challenging question for today

No. Yes. No. No. And any Republican? No. The party's gotten not only corrupt, but what may be worse, they've gotten lazy. They work three days a week. they're mostly team players who dare not go against party policy, and they spend a good deal of time raising money for their next campaigns. In other words, they've become the whores of Bush, whom most of them dare not contradict. And since Bush is an elitist, condescending, discompassionate, uneducated, uncultured whore of the Bush Dynasty, the Republican Congress has become mostly the whores of whores. If this is what our country votes in on Tuesday, because of govt. lies on their religious beliefs to suck in the Christian right, their lies on how things are going in Iraq and Afghanistan, those twin disasters and tragedies, and everything else they touch, then we'll continue to have the government we deserve. Unfortunately our innocent children it but will still be paying for our mistakes. So THINK, VOTE. And pray to whatever God that the electronic voting machines elect the people we actually voted for. But then, that too is a manifestation of the underhanded methods used by our present administration. You like the way things are, vote Republican.

One can support a war without having been in the military... not to say he or she is the most well equipped to understanding the military. But that certainly wouldn't be the primary grounds to 'not vote' for someone.
Use of racial and ethnic slurs is just not professional, and if you want to be viewed as professional it should be avoided, obviously. Is that primary grounds to 'not vote' for someone, I need to know more of their character, but if it's typical of the person's personality, there might be a problem.
Since being gay and same-sex marriage debate have very little to do with one another (it's a question of marital benefits being easier to obtain for same sex couples, which benefits are designed for people who have families and children, last I checked same sex couples tend not to produce children).
so, I guess without knowing more about the candidate my answers are possible, questionable, and possible.

The racial slurs would turn me off voting for a person. As to the other points you mention I think it is a persons right to do as they like in those regards.
The same sex marriage I do not agree with. No two people of the same sex can "marry" in my definition of marriage. I have no problem with a same sex "union" if that is what two people wish. Do not involve me and I think they have a right just like I do. I just do not like it called "marriage"
Does a person have to serve in the military to have an opinion??

?1) yes
?2) I wouldn't like it but wouldn't judge his political intelligence on this.
?3) No. If one is gay..be gay and don't be a hypocrite. Opposing same-sex marriage is ludicrous when 50% of same-sex marriage ends in divorce and often multiple divorce and mates. I oppose infidelity in any relationship.

Yes
Even the ones you may think haven't, probably have
and those that say they don't more than like do.
With politicians all you see is the tip of the iceberg.
So you pays your money and you take your chances.
