Isnt it kind of funny that one of Dumya's religious advisers is involved in a sex, drug, gay scandal. Especially since the GOP runs on an anti-gay, pro-morality platform??? With this latest scandal can the gop possibly hold the moral high ground anymore??http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20061103/ap_on_re_us/haggard_sex_allegations

I have to rebut an answer of roch cop regarding John Kerry's remarks. What he said is true the armed forces have lowered their educational standrds substantially to meet nedd for additional manpower. When I joined the army you could not get in if you had any kind of criminal record, or did not have a high school diploma. This is not true as of today if you don't believe me just look around the armed forces have lowered the standard not once or twice to meet their manpower needs.

It is more of the same the fox guarding the chickenhouse. These people are the biggest hypocrites ever placed in goverment. Remember these are the same moralists that had such a problem with Bill Clinton, but all of them are perverts, losers, liars, thieves.

nicely, it relies upon. For one element, there are a lot and a lot of Republican party intercourse offenders, mostly gay, and none of them seem punished in any respect. The dork who tried to purchase oral intercourse from a male undercover cop interior the twin cities Airport and the scum bag who sent underage MALE Congressional pages photocopies of his wee-wee have been the two GOP slime. So grew to become into the scum bag J. Edgar Hoover and his flea bag affiliate, Roy Cohn. So no count what's on the books, well-known Republican perverts do no longer do any extreme time. So what does "stricter" propose whilst they are all sticking irrelevant companions? possibly spanking their crummy exhilaration boy toy companions?

Not so much funny as terribly sad and terribly commonplace for the modern GOP. Poor old Abe must be spinning in his grave.

It's more than ironic that a political party that whines about the evils of "Big Government" wants to dictate who is in your bedroom and what you may do with your womb and then has this blow up in their faces.

My only question is what exactly is wrong with those 30% or so who still think Bush and his ilk are wonderful? Is it brain damage, self-delusion, or innate stupidity? Or is the gospel of greed and control strong enough to quash all decency?

This is the party that lies to start a war, shelters child predators, spits on the Constitution. Nothing scandalous about it should be in the least surprising.

Personally I think that both parties are corrupt. What really makes me sad is that while fingers will be pointed and accusations will fly for political gain, the fact that these are human beings that were truely affected by this will be swept under the rug.

Actually, I am sick of scandals from both sides. I just want some people who give a dam about the people to run the country without all the stupid finger-pointing.
