I know many intelligent ordinary men that would do much better than what we have experienced these last 25 to 30 years. No one will come forward but the same type of man we have been seeing. All lifetime politicians I think it's about time to put one of us, a regular man or woman in the office. Someone who really knows what it's like working for a living. Someone who isn't part of the problem, someone who knows form experience what it's like to house feed and cloth a family thru what sometimes has been tough times.. Since I see no one else thinking of doing this Send me email and I give you name to write in.... Jim

...who are all more worried about their name and their retirement than they are protecting our borders and our interests? The republicans and the democrats alike are just spoon feeding the poor and making false promises to the rich and unless someone lines their pocket or strokes their ego the policy is unimportant to them. It's high time for a change and I think this election year is the year to start. Vote none of the above!! In other words don't go to the polls at all. Everyone is screming it's our civic duty to vote, well I say it's our civic duty to ignore a government in shambles!

The word makes it sound as if people are actually afraid of a bunch of gullible idiots strapping bombs to themselves and blowing themselves up..They are getting part of what they want when they think people are afraid of them. I think they should learn to fear us instead of us fearing them!!!

My question relates to the news report that Yahoo provided the Chinese censors with the confidential identity of a Chinese dissident using his Yahoo Internet site, resulting in a long prison term. I would also like to know if Yahoo is making effort to help the dissident to get an earlier release from prison.

They Say That If Anyone Moves They Will Blow Up The Plane. They Start Trying To Break Down The Reinforced Cockpit Door.

Now- do you trust the security measures on the ground in that they would have found the bomb (meaning the guy is bluffing about having one) and rush the guys?

OR

Do you sit still because you don't want to risk that the guy will set off the bomb and kill everyone on the plane if you rush him?

I know what I would do, but I'm curious as to what other think.

Adultery is the most destructive sex crime of all, yet it is so common it is never prosecuted. In almost every case of divorce, adultery by one or both partners is the root cause. Do you want a divorced person living near you, your children and your spouse?

Since we know Hillary wants to be president, but could never get the votes. How likely is it that they do it this way?

Al Gore with Hillary as VP wins the 2008 presidential election and after a year or so Gore steps down for "Health Reasons." This makes Hillary the new president and the first woman president and she CAN CIRCUMVENT THE ELECTORAL PROCESS that she knows she could not othrwise successfully overcome.

How plausible is this?

Many people don't vote because none of the available candidates are worth voting for. This can lead to accusations that if you don't vote then you can't complain about whatever government was voted in.

If there was "none of the above" option (or something similar) then surely this would be a way of finding out whether the lack of votes was due to apathy or antipathy. A high vote would indicate that the system itself needs to change.

In the UK, more than half of people don't vote at general elections and it would be useful to find out why. Only a third of those that do vote are needed to "elect" a government.

A lot of people think this is a ploy of the Republican Party to deny some people the chance.....poor, elderly, etc. Personally, I think everyone should have an ID....whether they drive or not just to prove who they are (even when not voting).

When children muck up, there is usually a root cause; we can change their behaviour if we find out what is causing that behaviour. Usually, the parents are not meeting the child's needs in one way or another. Parents have to be taught how to change their behaviour in order to straighten out the child.
Similarly, If the Muslim people are so dissatisfied with the policies of Western Society that it drives some to blow themselves and others up; and go to such great lengths to destroy America etc, they must have something very powerful to say that we could learn from.
When one fully understands the problem, surely, we can then come to a compromise which everyone can live peacefully by.

I realise this is the 'real world', but we won't have one at all, the way we are going, so why not give dialogue a chance? it can't hurt the way bombs can, it can't destroy lives the way war can, it might even help if we have the guts to try ANYTHING FOLKS!!!!
