I bought an item online but cancelled it before dispatch and this was confirmed.
Now I see on my bank statement that I've been charged for the item. I've e-mailed them stating I want my money back but they are ignoring me.
So should I say I will be contacting my Lawyer or contacting Trading Standards.

Ron Paul has indicated during the debates that he isn't considering an independent run. Yet, as questioners have pointed out, there is almost no chance he will get the Republicrat nomination. Regardless of his spectacular fundraising efforts, Paul's candidacy is likely to achieve nothing (I wish this wasn't the case). To those who cite Paul's internet popularity, I would like to remind you that web developers, bloggers, and software engineers don't constitute the majority of Americans.

is it legal for other sites, without a person's permission to take their myspace or facebook pictures and post it on another site or elsewhere?
i've heard of cases where celebrities have sued others who have taken their head and put naked bodies on them on various sites.
there is this one site. http://myspaceprofiles.org/profiles/
and it took all of the info off of people's myspace's and posted it on there site.
however at the bottom of the site it says it is not part of myspace.
you can't cancel your account on myspaceprofiles.org.
so the question is, if you haven't asked for it, even if it is public information, you aren't allowed to steal it. this has to be unethical or against the law or something.
please let me know!!!

Isn't that what leadership is supposed to mean...that you look ahead and make plans for the future?

The official name of the party of the Democrats is "The Democratic Party". Why do conservitives use the term "democrat" as an adjective when it should be "democratic"? As in "democrat senator - vs democratic senator. If they're going to do that, shouldn't they also use it the same way with republicans: republic senator vs republican senator?

And why did they start doing that any? Are they afraid calling someone "democratic" makes them sound more positive.

She presets the questions she is asked so she always has the perfect answer.
She sets the questions to all of her opponents (both left and right) to screw them up.
When found out time and again she suddenly knows nothing.
Top notch politician material here.

The Fairness Doctrine, despite its name, gives Americans a raw deal. The Federal Communications Commission created it in 1949 to require broadcasters to present both sides of any controversial issue that they touched on. Sounds … well, fair, right? Except for two major problems. One is practical -- it makes for boring radio and TV. Why? Because broadcasters responded to the Fairness Doctrine predictably: Realizing that it would be extraordinarily difficult to ensure that each issue was treated in perfect balance, they opted in large measure to steer clear of controversial topics. After all, there’s only one way to guarantee that no one is offended by what you say … and that’s to say nothingThe other problem is a little something known as the First Amendment. Where, pray tell, is it written in the Constitution that we must exercise our free speech in a “balanced” way? Sorry, but the kind of robust debate that our Founding Fathers had in mind when they wrote the Constitution.

30,000 German soldiers who were sentenced to death during the war for a variety of "crimes" from desertion to espionage.

I was not aware that the figure was so high.

What took Germany so long to pardon these men?

Citgo is run by Hugo "Friend of Hollywod" Chavez. If we stop buying Citgo gas, he doesn't make a dime from us, and he loses the power to manipulate his country and kill those who don't support him. Do all of us want to end a dictatorship without one shot being fired?
