Point 1: In an interview with GOP leaders in South Carolina, CNN reported that the GOP base is dispirited and depressed. Things have not improved for them since the 2006 elections. In fact, they are continuing to lose interest. They said that the ONLY thing they can think of that might energize their base would be Hillary winning the Democratic nomination.

Point 2: All head-to-head polls on RealClearPolitics.com show Obama and Edwards having a stronger showing against Guiliani, McCain, Romney, or Thompson than Hillary gets.

I know it's early, but the GOP hatred for Hillary isn't going to go away. Isn't it clear that the best thing Hillary could do for America is to drop out and let someone who DOESN'T energize the GOP and who has a better chance of winning the national election carry the ball?

Iraq didnt have WMD got attacked. North Korea has WMD or working on it openly, got diplomacy. What would you do if you were in Iran's position.

Not asking if iran is evil or if we are better off not having saddam. There are lot of people without them world would be a better place (including Bush and Cheney). So just answer the question without calling names and 5th grade girlyman's politics.

WASHINGTON (AP) - Airport security officers around the nation have been alerted by federal officials to look out for terrorists practicing to carry explosive components onto aircraft, based on four curious seizures at airports since last September.
The four seizures were described this way:

- San Diego, July 7. A U.S. person - either a citizen or a foreigner legally here - checked baggage containing two ice packs covered in duct tape. The ice packs had clay inside them rather than the normal blue gel.

- Milwaukee, June 4. A U.S. person's carryon baggage contained wire coil wrapped around a possible initiator, an electrical switch, batteries, three tubes and two blocks of cheese. The bulletin said block cheese has a consistency similar to some explosives.

- Houston, Nov. 8, 2006. A U.S. person's checked baggage contained a plastic bag with a 9-volt battery, wires, a block of brown clay-like minerals and pipes.

- Baltimore, Sept. 16, 2006. A couple's checked baggage contained a plastic bag with a block of processed cheese taped to another plastic bag holding a cellular phone charger.

I don't believe there are any accomadations to Army girlfriends. I want to move to Germany to be with my boyfriend and understand I will have to find a job and housing near his base. I want to move there in April 2007 and neither one of us want to rush getting married. I don't even know where to begin to start preparing. I'm looking for somewhere to start. Do I need a work visa? Is my plan even feesable? I'm willing to do anything to make this work and to be there with him. He currently lives in the barracks but I believe he can obtain permission to live off base just without the financial support from the Army. If anyone has any information I would really appreciate it! Even a website or someone to contact would help!

"If a GOP candidate sought votes from a white group calling itself the 'National Council of the Race,' he'd rightly be shunned as a racist. But let Democrats do the same and they're called 'progressive.' The difference, of course, is that in the latter case both Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama were appearing before the National Council of La Raza ("The Race"), a radical Latino group. Trolling for votes, Obama pandered to La Raza's convention in Miami over the weekend, selling himself as one who marched alongside Latinos at last May 1's illegal immigrant amnesty rallies," says Investors Business Daily in an editorial. "But rather than either of these campaign tacks being political gaffes, both got favorable media coverage because the Latino community supposedly has been 'galvanized' over the loss of the Senate immigration bill. It signaled that Obama, like Clinton, buys into the idea that the bill's end was brought on by what La Raza calls a 'wave of hate' and that other American voters won't notice. The irony is that La Raza is no ordinary organization. The name, in English, literally 'the race,' is something its embattled apologists now claim means 'every race' or 'community' -- both absurd, since they both mean just the opposite of the actual word."

Fox News and O'Reilly watchers have the least amount of college graduate viewers of all major types of news sources.

The highest percentages of college grads get their news from the major online newspapers and National Public Radio.

This explains a lot doesn't it?

We could get rid of all drug crimes in short order. We also could sell them from regulated stores and use the profits to help the addicts withdraw properly.
